k, I tried to work out the lyrics for Photograph.

Very bad quality version (not that I'm not grateful, I am!) but very hard to hear.

and I may be way off. Some of the lyrics don't make sense but I don't know if that's my ears or just the way the song was written. ??Did Ed write this song????

Regarding the quality of DOAD, it's one of the best I've heard. It's from the Public Affection bootleg that features DOAD and then six live tracks at the end.

As for DOAD, I have it in 320 kbps, it is the best quality I have ever heard of. Sounds nearly NORMAL! If anyone wants It i will try and upload it.

(And no, I did not include "Vine Street." It was not a part of the set when I downloaded it from #LiveNet back in the day.)

Hey all, I just wanted to say thank you for this thread and all of these great files.

I used to be crazy active in the Live world back in the day (my college years to be exact ... late 90s and early 00s, boy do I feel old). Live-Web was the center of the Live universe on the internet. I even ran an FTP site hosting rare files just like this for a semester until someone (I think Live's record company?) contacted my school and busted me. Oh how the times have changed, seeing that these files have been up and available for a few years now . After college, the real world took up a lot of my free-time, and to be honest I feel like after TDTH the quality of Live's albums has been ... not as good lol.

Anyways ...

I'm pretty sure I have a copy of the "Pilgramage" verson of TDTH that I downloaded back in 2000, and as I delete nothing ever, I copied the info and saved it along with the mp3s:

This is a promotional release of The Distance to Here.
Differences from the official release include:

1) Don't Wait is included
2) Voodoo Lady is titled Happy Hour
3) Dance With You is titled Fijian Seas
4) Different ending to Sun
5) Different lyrics in the middle of Feel the Quiet River Rage
6) Different lyrics at the end of Amphibious (Where Fishes Go)
7) Different lyrics at the end of Meltdown
8) Different lyrics at the beginning of They Stood Up for Love

Recorded from a non-original cassette copy, May 11, 2000.

I have all 14 tracks, so if this would help everyone complete the collection, I would be more than happy to send any or all of it to J.Sax to get this added.

I've got a bunch of other crazy crap from the 90s and early 00s as well ... probably a lot of it is duplicated here already I'm sure. I'll post a list if anyone is interested.

Sorry, I know I'm rambling, just pretty neat to re-connect with some Live fans. It's been a long while for me, and to be honest I didn't know they had such a big internet following anymore.

Always great to welcome back folks from the Live-web days, I've only just 'reconnected' in the past year myself. There's a pretty active group of fans here, dangum for one is always on top of literally anything going on in the +Live+ world, so if there's anything worth knowing or downloading, you're sure to find it on this board

I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who would definitely be interested in anything you might have from the 1990's-early 2000's (incl. me ), JSax has put together a great collection of rarities here but there's definitely a dearth of lossless +Live+ concerts and rarities...
