well shops over here say it will be out on 17th october

Yup, exactly. A friend of mine went to a couple of Dutch shops and they all said: Come back next week! Weird stuff

QUOTE(jaybb @ Oct 10 2008, 3:22 am) *

He's the lead singer and harmonica player in Blues Traveler. While he does sing, he is well known as a harmonica prodigy. He has guested on a number albums, including work with Dave Matthews Band, Eric Clapton, Hanson (on their Glen Ballard produced album "This Time Around"), B.B. King amongst others.

On the one hand this is purely interesting. On the other hand, I do not really want country-western-southern-rockish Live at all.

QUOTE(Heavens Freaks @ Oct 10 2008, 3:46 am) *

Is there any chance the DVD would come out in Australia??

Better tell me about Russia sad.gif

QUOTE(sixfoot @ Oct 10 2008, 5:03 am) *

What DVD is this? White Discussion is the ONE song I abssolutely have to have on DVD.

BTW I bet all the songs will be included in the extras.

Taylor just posted this on his Twitter page:

"The new Live album is just absolutely insane! 15 years of heartfelt love and dedication to our music is captured in high def, surround sound"

and...

"November 11, of drops in the US. Have you heard the new tracks? "

We've heard Forever, but I wonder if that's a tease for Purifier goodness to come...

Several Dutch shops jumped the gun and have the DVD/CD listed for October but the release is delayed until early November. Exact date will be announced soon but I presume it will be around the US release of November 11th.

I found one on Ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/LIVE-BIRDS-OF-PRAY-BON...id=p3286.c0.m14

There's a few available, so it shouldn't be too hard to pick up a copy. smile.gif

Thanks. I have the US version, but somehow remember the DVD being videos not live concert footage. Is this true? Is the Aussie version different?

All CD+DVD versions of BOP contain the same material on the DVD. This is true for the American, Australian, Brazilian, Canadian, European, and Taiwanese issues.

Yeah, he did, but that wasn't related to Live's music, really, so I didn't post it, but I suppose I should have just to be thorough. smile.gif

I agree about BoP's DVD, but weren't there different cd's of BOP? Don't remember exactly what was different, but I think a few bonus songs like the FMNBLE remix.

Seems the Japanese release has an extra track of a FMNBLE remix and the European Union release has that same FMNBLE mix and Overcome live from PA. All other versions are either just the CD with 13 tracks as we all know it, or the CD with the DVD of the same live songs from Pinkpop.

SOB! I've had this damn thing in my posession for over 5 years and didn't realize this treasure. Guess Christmas came early this year.

I'm glad I've got a live White Discussion version, but I'd prefer a 5.1 version in a small enclosed venue (they seem to have more energy that way). Well maybe in the next DVD in 2022. smile.gif

Once I get Paradiso, I think I'll make my own DVD with BoP's 4 songs as an encore to Paradiso. That way I get all their DVD material on one disc. Would anyone be interested in something like this?
