I don't have any personal stories, but last August right after their show here, Ed personally presented a dying kid with a guitar autographed by the whole band.

If that's not nice, I don't know what is.

i have never heard anyone speak poorly of dave matthews. im always on their fan site, and ive been on there for 6-7 years...ive never heard ANYONE speak badly of him ever. apparently, everyone in the band is extremely nice.

Where I couldn't tell you right now lol, but somewhere around here there's a box with all my Live stuff in it (I moved recently and don't know where 3/4ths of my stuff is LOL), and I can see the picture in my head of us! ok here's my two cents tina has heard this story about 6 times i think, right tin??
when LIVE played york on sept 11th two years ago, i actually was driving around saw ed using a mac machine. WHAT LUCK, RIGHT? when he was done i walked up to him and told him the usual stuff " love your music, big fan, saw you guys 35 times". he was unbeliveably cool. he talked to me for minute, and thanked me for coming to see them great experience!

now fast forward about 10 hrs later in murph's at the after party in york
he was hiding in a back room talking to a blonde, and really didnt want to be bothered i think
when he was walking to the bathroom i asked him to take a pic with me and my sister (thanks again tin) and this what he said
"yeak ok but hurry up i want to get to back to drinking"
which i thought was a dick move

so my take is this
sober ed very cool
drunk with a wandering eye ed not so much
