Amazon has changed the release date fro the import (non-us) version to April 18, for what its worth.

A person on the SOY board who works for FYE and is responsible for pre-orderers getting Jimmy Lang photos said that a represantive from Epic told him that the album is delayed. I tend to believe him.

No reason was give to me for the delay. If I had to guess when the band would release the album, I'd say May 23rd. Just a hunch because they will be in LA they week. I don't quite understand this delay, unless they want more time to get this song picked up on the radio.
However, Hot A/C radio play never equals radio sales. Unless they release the strong to mainstream pop....all the radio play in the Hot A/C market won't mean a thing. It also wouldn't make sense to release the album after May since they are touring the US heavily that month.

Hopefully this clears up Monday. I also noticed that the import is scheduled to be release April 18th? But thats a Thursday? Who knows smile.gif

I looked up some May 9th releases and I came up with Snow Patrol, the Chilli Peppers double album...and a "live" Korn album. That doesn't sould like much to be scared at? But who knows.

On March 15th Ed updated in Integrated Journal and said the album was still May 9th...so who knows?

I really think the song is delayed. I don't think any new stations picked it up this week. 6 weeks from release you would think Epic would put more bucks into getting the song airplay. I'm not sure what Epic's gameplan is, but I'm hoping it doesn't suck.
