I just saw this video on MTV2 during the suckerfree countdown show while flipping through the channels. Sadly, I watched till Ed came on.

David Banner's album sold nearly 53,000 copies in its first week and finished at #8 on the Billboard charts.

The single is up to #9 with an increase of 455 plays from last week.

I've heard one of Chris Cornell's Timbaland produced new songs.

I'm going to stop laughing at Ed now. I don't think my buttocks will ever unclench again when thinking of Cornell.

I'm with you about Cornell... such an amazing vocal talent and a very questionable project with Timbaland. I found this youtube video with a few clips.

Does it look like anyone cares or gets excited about this Nick? You should post this on Banner's forums.. wherever the fuck that is.

God dammit fellas. As a deputy leader of the Russian Chris Cornell Fan Club, I am thinking of quitting it after what we heard. Seriously.

It means...damn it now it really looks like Ed is latching on. I'm baffled by this whole thing. If the CD and song are rising as Nick says, then shouldnt we expect a credit or a "call-out" for Ed if he supposedly helped write something?

I hope he didn't help write that song... I am going to pretend I never saw this.

As for Cornel... that sucks, i listened to all four snippets and the only half good one was ground zero. he's allowed to do what he wants but he may kill off the long term fans for temporary 16-24 year old screaming girls who will leave him once the next big thing hits.

David Banner: This is going to be a strange album. I honestly put my nuts on the line with this album. Imagine Outkast's beats and production now with the way they were rapping on their first albums. It's going to be the same David Banner content, but the beats are elevated. Me and Ed Kowalczyk, the lead singer from the rock group Live, are doing a lot of shit together on this record. My career is either going to be done or I'm going to win a Grammy off of 13. They're not gonna know what to do with that shit up here [at Universal].

The video for "Get Like Me" has received over 13 million views. I know I posted a YouTube clip of the video on the first page, but here's a higher quality version from Vevo.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LPz7LCybSNk

I've also, capped some new shots from the video. Has anybody ever asked Ed why he decided to do this?

He actually worked on the song and album, and was asked to appear in the video.
