So guys. Why not gather all possible solo acoustic performances by Ed over the years. Maybe someone has something others would be happy to possess?

Here are four video performances I posted a while back in Ed "Unplugged", Acoustic Performances. If anyone can convert them into high quality mp3's that would be great.

Heaven

Here you go, I did Heaven to see if it is ok. I'm not thrilled with the audio, so I'm gonna work on that a bit a reupload. Anyway, check it out and let me know.

This is a long shot, but .. on the 2003 Australian tour Ed performed Turn my Head acoustic and solo. Before a copy of the Canberra show was put up for download by someone, possibly Dan, there was a 57 second "preview" of Turn my head which sounded absolutely PERFECT qualitywise, the performance itself is gorgeous by Ed as well. However, when the show was properly put up for download the version of Turn My Head, whilst still the same performance was in much lesser quality, sounds like Ed is far off in the distance and the volume is low and a little muffled. I was wondering if anyone had the full length of the recording used in the sample?

The file name for the sample came as "TMH_Canberra_No2.mp3" if anyone has that floating around in their files somewhere, I can upload it if you want, but like I say it's only 57 seconds. It's the start of the song too which sucks as the ending was incredible, Ed finally hits the high notes and it just carries perfectly. But yeah, bad quality.

So... anyone?

Your post piqued my interest so I did some digging. Unfortunately all I could find out there is the one poorer quality recording with lots of crowd noise, I believe it may have been Dangum himself that did the recording as he referenced making a recording of that show in an older thread on these boards. Anyway, you're right. Ed's performance of that song was really really good. Much better than the TripleM performance in 06. I second the request of having a higher quality recording of that show if it exists.

Turn my head is my favorite Live song to play and sing, even though I'm not any good it's still fun for me and most people seem to dig it.

I have a version of Canberra 2003 that I've always thought was pretty good quality, I've had it on my mp3 player for years. There's some crowd noise in parts, but Ed's voice seems pretty clear to me ... sorry if it's the same version you have.

I also have a version from the Gypsy Tea Room, Dallas from 2003. The guitar at the start sounds a bit washed out by the crowd, but once Ed starts singing I think it's almost perfect quality - for a bootleg... it's not Canberra, but it's definitely a great version of TMH.

I appreciate the help but I believe thats the same version .. actually even the filename is the same.

For people who might not understand or want to understand why I want the other version in full here they are by comparison:

Poor quality but full version - http://www.sendspace.com/file/oasyi2

Good quality but short version - http://www.sendspace.com/file/859elv
