Hey folks - I know some of you were asking when BT would be slotted on the triple-bill shows this summer. I just got this info from the kind folks in management and wanted to share it so you know what to expect. Live will be closing every show except for the last one in Atlanta, and BT will be alternating the second slot with Collective Soul as follows:

I checked her Myspace out, she has a good sound. Too bad she plays so early in the night, because I won't be able to check her out this tour.

Rock under the stars

It’s a big concert: Live, the ’90s phenomenon (“Throwing Copper,” “Secret Samadhi”), brings its soaring anthems to Bayfront Festival Park on Tuesday. The band is lead singer Ed Kowalczyk, guitarist Chad Taylor, bass player Patrick Dahlheimer and drummer Chad Gracey.

Opening are the New York jam band Blues Traveler and southern rockers Collective Soul. They’ll play Bayfront Festival Park at 7 p.m. Tickets are $35 and $45, and you can buy them at the Bayfront box office. Children 10 and younger are free with a paid adult admission. Now that the tour is over, I just want to thank the guys for some awesome shows. I hit 7 shows this tour, and the setlist always contained a surprise or two. The crowds were large and really into the performances, and it was just an amazing experience to witness it first hand. Most surprisingly, all 3 fanbases seemed to co-exist peacefully, which was a pipe dream last year.

I'm excited to see what the band has in store for us next year.

That's because CS fans finally realize their place (as an opening band) and BT (which is way better and has better fans than CC) replaced CC.

They put on an awesome show in Baltimore! I can't remember which song but the crowd was singing so loud that Ed stopped singing and threw his guitar in a mock surrender!!! It was hilarious!
