Btw, I was really surprised with the intro of Sofia. It was after the 1st encore. They returned for the second time, but at first sight only Pat and Chad G. They start jamming a bit (so only drum & base), than Adam and Chad T came on and joined them and finally Ed came and at that moment you could hear it was the song Sofia. thumbsup.gif I'm really glad Sofia is still one of the few songs off SFBM cuz it does good in concert!

This is something I've said for awhile now, Sofia's concert intro is really cool .. I wished they'd done something like this on the album, it could have been a really great song had they let it run for about 10mins with a really awesome jam either as the intro or in the middle or something.

The setlist, well ... yawn and predictable. Dam at otter creek only real surprise, hope that makes the DVD, at least as an extra or something, totally awesome Ed brought the megaphone back for TDAOC ... see that's what Live is missing, awesome jam/intros, mixing things up and experimenting with bringing back long lost songs and being creative like the megaphone (not like it hasn't been done before, but for Live it's pretty rare).

yeah the megaphone thing was really cool! it fitted those words "I warned you, I prepared you, ...etc...." very well in W, D! It was like they did that in the studio as well with a megaphone back than lol.gif

QUOTE(Gertjan @ Jul 2 2008, 3:43 am) *

Ed sang TDAOC entirely through his new toy, the megaphone also used in AOY and W/D. It was was ubercool lol.gif

TDAOC entirely? cool.gif that sounds cool, although at Monday's you couldn't hear all Ed sang through the megaphone. Btw, he also used it in LJ the first night!

Love that they opened with Simple Creed. I would have dropped Wings, Sofia, and Mirror Song to add something else. I've also never been a huge fan on ending with a slow song like Dance With You, but that's Live's style.

The 2nd as that's the only one which is recorded.

As I've said in an earlier post in this thread there were some guys with cameras in the crowd on the first night too but that footage is for behind-the-scenes material and to have some extra stuff to choose from while editing.
