I've met a lot of celebrities over the last 5 years at various meet and greets and what not. Ed to me was the least cordial and by far the most disappointing.

Thats all I have to say....

This is funny actually, I remember reading this article in which Ed talked about his meet & greet with Bono. He said something like (I don't remember his exact words) "I've been a fan of Bono for such a long time, I think I would've jumped off a bridge if he turned out to be an asshole. Luckily he didn't."
So he does know what it's like to be on the other side of the fence...

Just to reiderate my point, the rest of the guys from Live I found to be really awesome, especially Adam and Pat. if anyone gets the chance to meet those two then you'd see they are pretty down to earth. Adam was the complete opposite to Ed I found.

I emailed with Adam back and forth a few times on myspace. He seems like a nice guy. I'm sure the fact that one of my co-workers in from York and graduated in Adam's class helped the conversation along.

I agree Pat, Adam and Chad Gracey were amazing. Very down to earth and really took their time with the fans.

Also, Ric Flair wasn't very nice when I met him at his book signing, either. I forgot to mention that earlier. I felt like handing his book back to him, but it was a really fun read. Off topic I know smile.gif

Gracey seemed very shy, polite and friendly, but moved on very quickly ... he was the only guy that actually introduced himself to me though which was funny. He kind of walked up behind me and says "Hey I'm Chad Gracey" .. I felt like asking him if he wanted me to sign anything for him.

Ric Flair is a grumpy old man though that is majorly overrated tongue.gif

Carlito, Eugene and Trish, now there are some friendly dudes, even if Carlito kept telling me how awesome he was.

Yeah, I'm shy, polite and friendly and would move on pretty quickly too. I think that is why I identified with Chad G. the best.

When did you meet all those wrestlers? I've met Hogan at a book signing. He was busy and intimidating(he's my childhood idol) but was cool just the same. Bobby Heenan and Jimmy Hart were very nice. Virgil threatened to stick his pen in my eye smile.gif

I've met Sherman Helmsley (George Jefferson) and he was very shy but very very cool. Adam West(Batman) was also awesome. However, I was really nervous when I met him and when he asked me what I do for a living, "I replied nothing."

I smell a celebrity meeting thread in the off topic zone smile.gif

No, it isn't. We want details. Did he do your wife? Ask you if he could do your wife? Pour beer on you? Let's hear Ed's dirty secrets!

It was all in the past. He didn't try and screw my girlfriend or anything crazy like that. He wouldn't have much luck anyway. The lead singer of Train is a different story......

I met him in Atlantic City last year. Didn't talk to him much, but he seemed nice enough. *shrug*

I don't think he's a jerk. A tad arrogant maybe, but not a jerk.

I've met the band a few times, and I agree with Gracey/Pat being really nice.

I'd be in an untalkative "leave me alone" mood after a 2hr concert, and there's 50 people there wanting to chat to me, wanting me to sign their shit, wanting to take photos.

I was at the acoustic show Ed did at the Seymour in Sydney a couple of days ago, and they had a break in the middle where the audience got to ask questions. Honestly, some of the questions were downright stupid, boring.. meh. Typical stuff he'd get ask over and over and over and over. He put on a happy smiling face answering the questions because he was being filmed, but when out of camera's view, I would not blame him if he got the shits with being asked such dumb questions.

Anyway, name me one big name lead of a rock band that doesn't have attitude?
