Hello all. I am a frequent visitor of this site, but I have never posted before. I am wondering if anyone would mind sharing the 89x acoustic version of overcome? Thanks!

I'll do you one better.

I've uploaded the 89x acoustic Overcome and the Jensen acoustic Overcome. The Jensen one, IMO, is better.

another request...i am putting together a playlist of acoustic recordings (mostly to help aid me in learning them on the guitar, but also for listening purposes)

Anyone have studio/high quality acoustic tracks from Secret Samadhi, Birds of Pray (other than Heaven) or SFBM (other than The River)?

I've done nearly the exact same thing as you. I assume you mean Ed solo acoustic.

I have:

Ed's Acoustic Max Performance:
River, Lightning Crashes, Heaven, Get Ready, Selling the Drama, Mystery, I alone and Dance With You.

Ed's Triple M Performance:
River, Heaven, Lightning Crashes, Mystery, I Alone and Turn My Head

99x, Ed solo guitar with Chad G on bongos
Iris, Selling the drama, TBD, Mirror Song, Supernatural, Operation Spirit

Bluberry Hills Performance:
I alone, Heaven, Lightning Crashes, Dolphins Cry, Run Away

BBC Performance:
Selling the Drama, I alone and Top

Other various acoustic solos:
Pain Lies on the Riverside, Simple Creed, Deep Enough, Overcome, River, Lightning Crashes, Dolphins Cry

I've not heard of any other songs being performed acoustic solo by Ed. There are many other various duplicates of the songs posted above. Things like Heaven and Lightning Crashes have been done to death, I'm not going to list them all. If anyone has any other acoustic performances of songs not listed above I'd be interested.

Quasi lemme know if you are interested in any and I'll up them. Some of my personal favorites are the entire 99x session, Turn my head, and Top. Turn my head is pretty fun to play once you know it well, especially if you sing while playing. I at least have fun with it.

that is a nice list...I already have the BBC and 99x performances, but they aren't be best quality. I would love a listen at the others you have listed. I know it is a pain, but would you mind uploading them?

Thanks for your help!

BTW, Turn My Head is probably my favorite song to play.

The BBC and the 99x are both GREAT quality recordings. They aren't studio mastered obviously but they are as good as you're going to get. None of the acoustic songs I have are going to match the 99x quality. That show is a perfect recording of a live performance. When Ed plays Iris and palm slaps the strings my subwoofer responds with a nice a tight thump, sounding exactly they why my electric/acoustic sounds when amped.

I'll up everything I have in one giant acoustic zip file soon!!

yeah, I think that the version Ed did over here at the Jensen show (in 2006) was the best performance of Overcome ever.

Can you repost the songs. The link doesn't work. It says:

Invalid Quickkey.

This error has been forwarded to MediaFire's development team.
The quickkey you provided for file download was invalid. This is usually caused because the file is no longer stored on Mediafire. This occurs when the file is removed by the originating user or Mediafire.
