Tickets for Paradiso? Any ideas? Options

Hey everyone. I'm Liam, from Dublin, Ireland. Hope posting a new thread looking for tickets isn't too dramatic! Nice to meet you all.

Thinking of flying over to amsterdam and staying in a hostel for two nights to see the band both nights. I've never seen Live before because the only time they played here was for a crappy support slot with Bon Jovi. I have no tickets just yet, but I'm thinking of just flying over and going to the gig... I'm thinking I shouldn't have to pay much more than $150 from sellers at the door...

Otherwise it's 250+ for the few remaining tickets on the Internet. I refuse to pay for those.

Any ideas anyone? I think I'm just going to go and hope for the best when I get to the show... there's got to be some people selling on the door...

Flying to a country and hoping for generous scalpers is a very risky practice. I'd pay the 250 because spending an extra 100 dollars is worth the security of making sure you'll be able to see the show.

Hey Liam. Nice name.

I run a Dutch LIVE board and all the people over there even from Holland have been getting issues buying the tickets even if they were a week or two late. Good luck, but I do not think you will get any tickets for:
1-LIVE
2- in Holland
3- in Paradiso
4- for small money

Hey Liam, I don't think it's a good thing to just travel to Holland without knowing if you'll get a ticket or not. Last time at the Paradiso gig (2006) I don't saw any people selling tickets at the doors, but that can be just me.
If you really want to come, than wait and try to find the best offer you can get before you coming to Holland, that's my advice

I'm just going to buy the tickets online before I go. I'll be staying in a hostel in Amsterdam probably... is anyone planning anything for after? Parties? beers? That would be fun
