Looks like Ed is working with David Banner on his new album. He even makes an appearance in his new video.

Prefix Mag: You've also been working on an album called 13.

David Banner: This is going to be a strange album. I honestly put my nuts on the line with this album. Imagine Outkast's beats and production now with the way they were rapping on their first albums. It's going to be the same David Banner content, but the beats are elevated. Me and Ed Kowalczyk, the lead singer from the rock group Live, are doing a lot of shit together on this record. My career is either going to be done or I'm going to win a Grammy off of 13. They're not gonna know what to do with that shit up here [at Universal].

Hahaha WTF is Ed doing? I'm laughing... uhoh.gif but actually this isn't funny at all!
I mean if we were talking about 2001, all right than, but I thought Ed went away from all the rap stuff. And as someone earlier stated in this thread, the kind of hiphop/rap he went through in that period was way better than just plain RnB hiphop shit. Whatever, maybe album no.8 will be a "V-partII".

Btw why appearing in a video when he don't sing a word at all (whereas "they did a lot of shit together"). Ed is not the guy that wants just attention. Weird, I tell ya!

Tricky has NOTHING to do with hip hop or rap. He is above the music. And he suit V perfectly. Just as Ed suit his Blowback.

i wouldnt be surprised if Will.i.am would have something to do with the new albim (after he finished MJ's upcomin one eyebrow.gif )

btw you don't want to place Tricky in line with hiphop or rap. All right, it's not pure hiphop, it's called trip hop, all right. But Placing Will.i.am in line with the usual ganger rap is also a bit odd than, Will.i.am has done a lot of different things than the plain hiphop/rap scene has done.
