How many times do you think Ed will grab his nuts during each show?

He won't, he'll caress them. He's loving and caring now, remember?

Do you guys think Ed will thank Blues Traveler and Collective Soul during Live's set during this summer's tour. The only times I ever saw Ed thank anyone was during the first triple play show last year in Delaware and this year in Hershey with Breaking Benjamin. I never understood why he usually doesn't thank other performers, is it ego or indifference? It has been my only real complaint about the band since I became a fan.

The best shot for a thank you is at Red Rocks, otherwise I just don't see it happening. I hope I'm wrong.

The only people he needs to thank are those that come out to the show to see them.

How many songs into each set do you think Ed will remove his sunglasses, followed by his wifebeater?

I think Ed's glasses act as a security blanket until he gets a read on the audience. They are usually off after the first 3 songs, earlier if its a good crowd.

What is good music to you?

There've been more than enough conversations here about objectivity/subjectivity and the various factors that contribute to these in music... and they never seem to end up changing anyones mind, so they're pretty redundant.

But music that I (generally) enjoy is music that has something new, or unexpected to offer- even if it's a catchy pop song. Not formulaic music (see matchbox 20) that the band don't even have enough talent to pull off without auto-tune.

To be fair to the bands you mentioned, I haven't heard enough CS to form an accurate opinion of their music.

I have to agree...who cares if he thanks anyone, has his glasses on or off or even has his beater on or off...as long as he's singing the songs that I love, I'm happy. I still can't believe that I don't have any tickets to see Live this summer. I have to find a way to see them. I desperately need a LIVE show at this time. sad.gif

Bands that I know who usually thank their opening acts: Matchbox 20, vomit.gif Bon Jovi, vomit.gif Collective Soul, vomit.gif Train vomit.gif

Not a surprise, but still...

PS - You're REALLY fishing for something to discuss about the band if you think this is an issue worth bringing up.
