I'm not a fan of the band and I don't like how he influenced V, but I still found this to be an interesting article.

Thanks for sharing, Todd. Like you, I am not the biggest fan of their music, but I respect Adam D is a whole new way and applaud his hard work and self-recognition, something many lack.

The same as been said of my favorite actor Bill Murray, and from what I've heard in recent days, it is 100 percent true. Many of Ed's friends are dickheads (Daughtry, Fred Durst), and despite Adam's illness, I'm sure reports of his dickheadedness are largely true.

Why is Daughtry a dickhead?

My friend works at a radio station in NYC and has told me horror stories about the guy. He feels he's the golden goose and is very difficult to work with.

Damn, that's a bit of a dissapointment really - he seems so nice and genuine from what I've seen. Any specific examples on why he's such a horror?

Daughtry has his people tell anyone whoever is going to interview him, to be sure to NOT mention American Idol. I guess the guy forgot what made him popular in the first place?

Haha, that's so pathetic. You've never seen this guy in real life, and you're judging him on what your 'friend' told you happened at a radio show? Honestly, put yourself in his shoes for a second. Are you consistently friendly to people regardless of your level of stress, circumstance, other things on your mind etc? If I were performing on a show that was going to be heard by a lot of people I'd want to make things were all going right, and even though I would try to do it in a way that didn't piss people off, it's inevitable that someone would feel shunted.

Honestly, stop gossiping and bitching about someone you've never met.

So whoever you proclaim to be a 'dickhead' (such a mature term) automatically is one? And you're sure reports of Adams 'dickheadedness' are true?

Fuck.

It is the whole stations reaction to Daughtry, not just my friend. Neither your or I have met the guy, and she has on several occasions. I trust her opinion and view point on the matter.

yes, I'll give you a first hand account.

I'm obviously a fan of live, but also a fan of counting crows. Last year in Indianapolis at the Triple Play while backstage to meet Live I ran into Adam D. I approached him with my hand extended to say hello. He ignored the gesture and just blew me off. I've also heard other first hand accounts of his unfriendly ways. It doesn't seem very appreciative of your fans to act that way to me. Luckily Live is not that way.

I don't blame him at all. Being an asshole has nothing to do with his dissociative disorder, whatever it may be, but if some dude like you came up to me with an extended hand I'd cover my balls and run.

You jocking my cock that much that you're going to follow me around the messageboards?

First you cyber-stalk me on myspace and god knows where else, and now you chase me around here.

You and your little sidekick try making the gay jokes about me, but it's you two following me around? Whose really gay in this scenario?
