Dude those covers are friggin awesome, I wanna hear more Live sung with Russian accents!

Although the TBD is different to the version I was thinking of ... the one I was thinking of was just a guy and an acoustic guitar and it was the most upbeat and happy song you could ever think of.

I doubt many non-Australians will know who I'm talking about but a singer called Vanessa Amorosi covered 'Lightning Crashes' at one of her shows last week. I wasn't there, but by all reports she did a good job.

I just came across a truly atrocious version of The Dolphins Cry. It was Amy Lee from Evanescence slaughtering it. She had a habit of doing diabolically bad cover versions - she should be shot for the cover of Thoughtless by Korn she did. I don't like Korn that much but I think that one's great.

The quality is bad anyway as it's apparently a camcorder job pointed at a TV screen, but here you go:
