Hey, I thought it was nice if everyone who have seen covers of Live on youtube share it with everyone. You mostly see (amateur) coverbands on youtube, but it doesn't say it's less great.

I'll start with 2 covers of Lightning Crashes (the most covered songs, I guess).

Still Oz covering Lightning Crashes
>> This cover is well done, didn't expect this at the start of the song. Also the addition of some strings is really original. The singer has a good voice!

Lost Cause covering Lightning Crashes
>> A good cover of the song, and these guys are very aware of the build-up of the song, it's not easy I tell ya! Also the video shooting at the pool looks cool, hehe.

Not so much a cover, but I remember someone posting a link to a band's myspace and a song they had was a blatant rip off of Lakini's Juice, I can't remember if I liked it or not, but would be interesting to hear that again if anyone remembers..

The best person that used to post here was that little kid, I think I still have some of his songs ... cant remember the name he posted under but the songs were "Little Kid" and "We're gonna die". The songs were almost designed to make your ears bleed

I've got most of the cover entries on a DVD somewhere. If there's a particular entry you want to hear, let me know and I'll upload it.

Yea I do remember it. The lads with mohawks and the shite. Awful stuff it was. I will try and dig my board's archives for it.

Used to be two of em. One in Russian another one in English. All the guitars (bass, rhythm, solo, main riff) were recorded with only one guitar. Plus a drum machine on an old pc... I will look for it. I scored 3d place in the ontest with it.

Our SC won though.

I like this guy's cover of Gas Hed Goes West. It's just an acoutic guitar though...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MNmvX4lFsh0

A band called Chronix covering Lakini's (camera work for the first 30 seconds is dodgy, but it's steady after that)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UGfYAXSOIpM

Some drummer called Martin Periard playing Lakini's Juice. Technically he's spot on, but he's got nothing on Chad Gracey.

Awright. You asked for it.

All the covers I did. Ridiculous stuff. Shows why I gave up making music.
