Thanks - It's not a problem though. I did a little research and found the actual show that the acoustic version on the single came from. I got the whole show.

If you have the Selling The Drama acoustic version it would still be appreciated.

Are you indeed saying there is an acoustic guitar version of TSUFL? I had not heard of this before. I've played around with the TSUFL chords on my acoustic and I didn't think they would have done an acoustic arrangement of that song. Was Railo(sp) in the song at all? Eitherway what show are you talking about? Are there any other acoustic performances of songs at this show that were out of the acoustic norm with Railo?

The acoustic version I was referring to was off of the single. It is the Jet Studios version.

I have heard them perform the song in concert with guitar only. It can be done.

You've heard them play the song in concert, with acoustic guitars, without Railo?

While they play the album arrangement at nearly every show they do, and they technically could play the exact same thing with an acoustic guitar, it really wouldn't come out to well. The dynamics of the album version have a lot to do with the electric guitar.

This is why I was interested in the possible existence of an acoustic guitar version. They more than likely would have changed the arrangement a bit from the album version [like how they did the jet studio version].

Do you have the Jet Studio Lightning Crashes and Dance With You that for some reason didn't make the bonus CD*?

[* IIRC, there was a bonus CD in Europe that included TSUFL, I alone, The Distance, Dolphin's Cry, Run to the Water from the Jet Studio performance but for some reason didn't include Lightning Crashes and Dance With You.]

Thanks, I had the tracks and had seen the vids already, since you were requesting the acoustic TSUFL I was making sure that you knew there was an LC and DWY from the same set.

Hi

I heard a version of They Stood Up For Love, but it started with, the big bang never blew them away, Adam and Eve never made the grave,

and i can't remember the rest. There were no music in the background only Ed and the beautiful lyrics.

If you can help me I would really love it.

Greetings
Albert

Hmm, no music and just Ed? That sounds interesting. There's a version of TSUFL called the "Ballad Version" which has those lyrics but it's a full band track.

You can download it from here: http://www.fansoflive.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2055

If I recall correctly, back in 2000 MTV in Europe had a remix competition where there were 6 parts of the TSUFL track released. eg. drums, guitar, vocals etc. You were supposed to use some audio editing software to mix all the parts together to create a remix. I suppose the version you heard was just the vocals section? If anybody still has those tracks then they would be great to hear.

but wouldn't it be more likely by such a competition there were the normal lyrics released for the vocals track, instead of the ones from the 'Big Bang' version?

Btw that Bing Bang version, or how to call it, is a really cool version I think thumbsup.gif although it's a really early, alternative demo version of the final song that made it to the album. It's really a totally different song.

Nope, it's the 'Big Bang' version. They were split up as follows:

Bass
Drums
Guitars
Guitars II
Harmonies
Keyboards
Vocals

I received a copy of these tracks. I'll upload them in the next couple of days. The files are in the AIFF format (about 30 - 60 megabytes each). Are you happy with that or would you prefer mp3?
