One of the nicest shows from 2001 imo. The quali is A- if you ask me to rate it.

Enjoy.

Cool video, but I don't really like Ed when he performs songs from V, his voice is just so forced in them. Overcome is an exception to that, I should add.

Maybe forced in concert, but not on the album.

I am the opposite... I love V except for Overcome (OK and Flow can join that list too) Overcome to me sounds like a SFBM preview. I swear I could've written better lyrics than the originals for Overcome. Maybe I should try it... I did an awesome job on Like a Soldier that one time.

Do so. And we will all check it out.

And please post your lyrics to the other song you mentioned.

You need WinRAR to unzip the file.

I made a thread on it a long time ago. Interesting to read the responses from members that still come around.

http://www.fansoflive.com/forums/index.php...1540&hl=soldier

If you are too lazy to look at it, the best part of my lyrics are the bridge and part of the first part.

"I'm sick of all the false glory
What do we need?
one more dollar bill to fuel
our insatiable greed?

And if you follow me
I'll lead you back again
to return everything we stood for"

What makes you think it is better than the original?

Well, it has the live spirit of TDTH instead of the cheesiness of V. This whole thread has gone way off topic and probably should be closed...

Thanks again mate, Fans Of Live are the best!!

I still think Ed's voice sounded better in this time period, even though he was a little forced in Deep Enough - Lightning Crashes STD & Dolphin's sounded pretty good.

I don't know what triggered the change but its like he sings all mouth (high sounds) and no throat (low sounds) these days - good for some songs but not the old ones!

Uh, what was I saying...Anyway off-topic; those LAS lyrics - jury's still out. Sorry man.

I completely agree! I love V, probably my favorite Live album, i got it when I was in 7th grade hahaha. The album is a great mix of all their albums up to that point. It is severly under-rated in my opinion. Hero of love is probably my favorite live song. or right up there. with about ten others
