Ooohhh toughness of yours just kills me. Lived through high school. bounce.gif

I only said that being so far away from US and younger (I feel?) than you and listening to the similar music, I suddenly share the FACTS, when you state your own opinion as universal truth. I find it immature. Sorry.

+Ed+,

You're stupidity and misunderstandings astound me. There is no reference to "toughness" in my statement what so ever. It's not even implied.

You are telling me to read up on information that I experienced first hand. That is my reference of "lived through". Nirvana is part of my generation of music and I did live through their lifespan. In fact, being in high school at that time, I was their primary demographic (I guess that translates into tough talk for you!).

My friends were the fans that listened to them, hung their posters on their walls, and wore their apparel during their time. My peers were the ones who supported their career and sold out their shows. My best friend was a Nirvana fanatic. Believe me, just from being around him alone, I learned everything there is to know about Nirvana. That doesn't even account for and include my own personal experiences with them and their music.

I can tell you, from first hand experience, that in the US Nirvana was a band that had a large fan base that exploded to exponential proportions after Kurt Cobain's suicide. That is a cultural fact coming from someone who "lived through it" and for you to argue that with me is ludicrous. What's immature is you, somebody talking "facts" secondhand, calling me immature because I speak the truth and you disagree.

Your statement, correcting me about Nirvana, is the equivalent of you telling somebody who was in high school during the late 50's and early 60's to read up on the fame of Elvis because they don't know what they are talking about, or you telling someone who was in high school during the late 30's and early 40's that what they are saying about the impact of WWII is not fact.

Seriously, how would you really know? Oh ya, you have some "facts" that you've read.

Ed, you are truely and idiot.

This proves you don't have to be a genious to have followers.

Blaming everyone else seems to be the direction America is heading. You have to take accountability for your own actions.

By the way, it sucks that Live lost to Nirvana because they actually are the better band. Good job to all of those who supported with the vote.

I agree that all who supported LIVE did a good job. thumbsup.gif

But Hoodie, before you call anybody an idiot, can you please make sure that very sentence isn't laced with errors? "Truely" is spelled incorrectly and you added a "d" to make what was supposed to be an-and.

Then you spelled genius incorrectly. Not to say that you should proofread everything, I get where you're coming from on that. But when you're trying to make a specific point, it would be a good idea to make sure you're using proper grammar when attempting to call somebody else an idiot. Just a thought...

Anyhow, thanks to everybody who voted!!! yay.gif

C'mon Hoodie. Do not call me a stupidity. I sincerely have never ever heard anything like that. YOU ARE STUPIDITY! Funny. I would even say redeculis. As you enjoy stating it.

I find it pretty much offensive for people like you to claim anyone who gets around stupid or anything else that could not be positive towards the interlocutor. It only reveals the level of your... oh no, not education, but politeness.

You know, I enjoy being online. When I am online, I enjoy getting positive feelings and not wasting my time. Well, easy to guess that the only person I get negative feelings from lately is you. And you also make me waste my time on pointless arguements with a man who can hardly support his own point of view.

Anyway, try and learn how to make your thoughts sound clear enough for others not to be mistaken.

And isn't it too bad to name "stupid" a man, who speaks your mother tongue much better than you? Huh?

PS. I just hate it that Nick allows shite like this aboard. Moreover, in the Live-related threads...

I can't believe Led Zeppelin lost to Metallica in the Final Four and Foo Fighters lost to Tool in the Elight Eight. What an upset!!!

Yeah Im surprised by that. More so the Tool victory over FF. I guess its all good since FF and Tool could have held there own in the 90s bracket also.

True - I was going to comment before that they probably belonged there!
