Blues Traveler is happy to announce that they will be returning to the Red Rocks Amphitheatre for their annual 4th of July concert and this year they will be bringing along special guests Live and Collective Soul. Tickets go on sale Saturday April 26th at 10:00am MDT through Ticketmaster. In addition to Red Rocks the band will also be returning to Lollapalooza in Chicago!! Here is a list of all recently confirmed Blues Traveler shows:

There already is a Wisconsin show for July 25th announced. It will be a full tour with dates in both July and August. How many, I have no clue.

I don't think they'll be playing every date together. I found this on Deal Roland of Collective Soul's myspace:

We are gearing up for another summer of touring and are excited about the opportunity to perform with two great bands - Blues Traveler and Live. It can never be said enough but we truly appreciate all of the support and hope to see you guys on the road in the coming weeks!

It can't be a very long tour because Live is off to Europe at the end of August. But there could be anywhere from 15-20 dates from late-July-late-August.

It's been too long...

I'm back in Eugene. We lived here from 1996 - 2000, then lived in Beaverton from 2000-2002, then Cali until this past December.

I can't tell you how glad I am to be back in the GREEN and the RAIN. *loves it*

The Cali desert was just not for me...

Are you in Portland proper?

I went to U of O back in the day, moved to santa clara, ca, home of the Niners!!!! and then back to Portland.

I love it here and it is nice to visit the concrete jungle that is Cal, but Oregon is it....besides PA that it.

From the Collective Soul board from a member who attended their Atlantic City concert:

I heard him say that they would be back in AC(Atlantic City) between July 4th and Aug 17th? or something like that. Not sure if he meant with Live and Blues Traveler or just by themselves. And I only had one bigass martini and a Miller lite....... that hour.

The only concern is that Blues Traveler are playing Atlantic City on June 28th, it wouldn't make sense for them to return so quickly. The tour running from July 4-August 17 makes perfect sense though with Live leaving for Europe the following week. We need dates already!
