Wow. I just have to say that I came over here to check out the dates that were announced for this whole Blues Traveler/CS/Live tour and I find out that I'm being talked about in a CS thread. I must say Nick, I really do dislike you more than I dislike Luke and it has nothing to do with anyone's taste in music. And you must forgive me if I don't take much of what you say about MY taste in music to heart considering the fact that you enjoy seeing Barry Manilow in concert, among other things. Oh and I thought it might be fun to post a little quote from the CS board that Nick posted a few days ago:

" Past is past, but if they do decide to tour together again, the message boards should be cordial about it. I admit that I used to put Collective Soul down, but it usually was in defense of Live.

A co-headlining tour can be beneficial to both bands, and if it happens I think its a good thing. Its not a competition between Live and Collective Soul, its about both fanbases working together to make the tour a success.

Looks like you're not so wise after all. It's a shame that you could only stick to your new resolution for oh, about a week. It's also a shame that so many people, including myself, have been driven away from this board because it is now being run by you. I just wish you would stop posting on the CS board. So instead of apologizing again, let me just say thank you. A sincere thanks. I have just bought all of Collective Soul's music and have thoroughly enjoyed them both times I've seen them. They were a blast on Friday and cemented the fact that I will go back and see them EVERY SINGLE TIME they come back here.

I've actually come to agree with some of your opinions on LIVE as well. Also come to appreciate what an awesome fucking guitarist Joel is as well. Thanks for turning me on to a great band and some very enjoyable music.

People here don't enjoy CS? Fine! But at least show them some respect, just as I would ask fans of Soul to do the same.

You stopped posting here because you are no longer a Live fan. You haven't had a positive thing to say about the band since 2004, and you basically ran a mini-Collective Soul forum in the off-topic zone of fansoflive.com. If I gave the board away, I doubt you'd return to posting here. Even if you did, it wouldn't be about Live anyway.

Also, Barry Manilow puts on an excellent show. Go to Vegas and check it out before you criticize it.

Correction: I don't like Live's current work or their current live show, that in no way means that I am no longer a fan. Of course, I wouldn't expect you to be able to understand that based on the fact that you love 100% of everything that Live does, have done or ever will do. We've had this arguement countless times though so I'm going to let it go.

As for my posting about CS in the off topic zone, isn't that what the off topic zone is for? I've been turned on to other bands many times by people posting about bands that they like in those areas. If you aren't interested just skip that thread. Of course I wouldn't expect you to gain anything from such threads since you aren't the most open minded of people when it comes to being exposed to different music. Hmmm here's an idea. Since you now run this board why don't you ban anyone that talks about CS?

And here's another idea, why don't you try giving the board away and then we'll see if I come back and post and what topics I post about. Looks like from what I can tell you've done an amazing job of totally ruining an otherwise good site. Maybe it's time to take a step back from your obsession, maybe get some therapy and some good strong meds and see how it goes. I mean at this point it seems as if you are even obsessed with a band that you don't even like just because they are touring with Live. It's really quite pathetic.

Also, when I get to Vegas I'm pretty certain I won't be going to see Barry. Last time I checked I'm not 65 years old or a gay man.
