I don't much about the band either. Time to start reading smile.gif

Blues Traveler allow their fans to record their concerts!

I posted here, went to wikipedia for a completely unrelated reason - didn't even think to look em up, came back here again and was directed to wiki! duh. tongue.gif

Thanks mate. smile.gif

If this show happens I will make every effort to tape it, though it will be a stealth recording, hopefully some BT fans will have full rigs with better (i.e. larger) equipment.

As of now the event "no longer exists". Have fun in Denver in the middle of the summer!

The show is happening. It was announced earlier than they had wanted. I think the whole tour will be announced on the same day. Most likely in the next week or 2.

Actually Denver is awesome in the middle of the summer. There is no humidity and the parks are amazing. The venue is great. Since the venue is a national park you can bring your own food and drink in.

Glad your making the trip. When the date gets closer I can give you some tips on where to stay, eat, see, etc. As I said earlier, Red Rocks is an AMAZING venue, I recommend that everyone see at show there at least once in a lifetime.

I'm stoked that Live is playing there again, but I have to say it is a weird lineup, I thought the animosity between the CS fans and Live fans was bad, I can't imagine the BT fans are going to be very impressed with Live or CS. Should be an interesting tour...

See you in July,
Brian

What are Blue Traveler fans like? At least we know that Live will have two fans at Red Rocks on July 4th. I want to take the alpine cart down the mountain, what part of Colorado is that in?

I have a few friends that will come too. BT is a jam band (ala Greatful Dead, Phish, etc.) I have seen them a few times, but I get tired of their set about an hour into it. Jam on the same riff or song for 20 minutes gets tiring (to me).

The RR date is back up on the BT site (http://www.bluestraveler.net/info/tour/), but the TM link is dead. I can't get into the forum to ask about tickets, info, etc.

There are a few Alpine Slides in the area, the Breckenridge Slide is probably the closest to Denver.

Brian

The show is not confirmed, yet. Hopefully this tour will be announced by the end of this month. The Wisconsin date is scheduled to go on sale April 28th, so hopefully, the entire schedule will be announced before then.

Waiting is the hardest part!

Excellent!

Typically the first 24 rows and the last 10 rows are GA and rows 25-60 are reserved "seats" for shows at Red Rocks. So get your GA tickets and come wait in all day in the dry heat of the Colorado summer.
