So I know who is Michael Stipe but have never really listened to R.E.M., even if I know the hits. I should know The Beatles much more than that, and I haven't really got a clue what Jimmy Hendrix, David Bowie and Velvet Underground have done in the past that makes that I heard about them many times. I mean, we all specialize ourselves... Some will follow politics, others, music, others, sports. Also we come from different countries and have different cultures. For example, radio stations where I live play much more French stuff than the rest, so I had never heard Live before I bought TC at totally random.

David Bowie... what didn't he do? He is a musican chameleon, he has helped many bands get a start like Mott The Hoople and Arcade Fire. He has spawned many different genres of music and is a true artist. He also was an actor.

I have no idea who Velvet underground or motorhead are... I assume at least one of them is punk. I don't listen to punk. The Ramones suck too.

The Arcade fire is awesome! Both albums are spectacular and I love how ANYONE can like them. "Wake up" is my current favourite.

Look, motherfucker, simply try and EVER compose a single little chord progression that will be worth 1/16 th of what Radiohead did with the most unpopular and unknown song of theirs. Good question! In fact I had to keep it for later... I was not even joking with the 4 hours story, and one week of that, I'm quite dizzy now! And if I open that page sometimes it's just because I'm sick with the work I have to do on that computer... But I'll take at look at those sites you directed me to, thanks!
