Lucky... I wanna see Nightwish sad.gif

Is the new chick as crappy live as she is on the albums? She sounds terrible compared to the old chick.

Favourite Nightwish song = Kinslayer victory.gif

I have no shows planned as of yet. I'm hoping for some US Live shows within driving distance. If Seal tours late summer as he is supposed to, I'll be seeing him as well. Pat Monahan of Train is also very likely. Otherwise, i'm wide open.

Going to see Collective Soul next month.

I now own all their albums and they've gained my respect from their performance last time I saw them. They made Live look silly that night and I would've honestly rather seen much more of CS that night and a lot less of Live.

They've grown on me big time. I'm excited to see them again. Heavy kicks some serious ass, can't believe I'd never heard it before. Great song and a good band too.

When I started to learn how to play my guitar, I learned quite a few Collective Soul songs. They are my favorite to play even though I still suck majorly. guitar.gif Heavy kicks some major ass and I also love Where the River Flows. thumbsup.gif I need to see them in concert again.

I'm sure that Collective Soul did not make Live look silly. Having seen Collective Soul and Live play together over 6 times, I can honestly say that Collective Soul is an awful concert band. Ed Roland's voice has a very limited range and his back-up band has to slow the tempo of all their songs to accomodate his weak vocals.

Even taking Live out of the equation, there are very few bands that Collective Soul could make look silly. They are an 80's hair band wannabee stuck in the 21st century. I feel they are pretty ridiculous in themselves.

Post made with apologies to Tina.

I don't really give a single piece of shit about what you say. CS made Live look bad. You don't like em and that's good for you Nick, that in itself doesn't make them a bad concert band. You weren't there, so don't try and preside over what I have to say about the show because that in itself is what is literally fucking ridiculous. Fanboy.

I saw Collective Soul in concert six times this past year with my wife. Each time, they bored the life out of us with their lack of stage presense and forced sing-a-longs that bring the show's music to a standstill. Cutting out the music to let the crowd sing a long once or twice a show can be cool, but doing it every other song is monotonous. I'm glad you enjoyed them in Toronto, but I think they are an awful concert band.

Ed Roland creeps me out like no other frontman in the business. I just get bad vibes from the guy.

That's cool. I get the opposite from him. A lot of people get the same from a LIVE show and I don't understand that much neither.

Different strokes for different folks I guess. I'm looking forward to seeing them again.

Enjoy the show! Do you like Alanis? She was actually really good opening for MB20.
