listen to the first 8-10 seconds of each song. one right after the other. two or three times. just those first few seconds. liiiiisten close.

maybe you'll hear it, maybe you won't. all i know is that it seems pretty damn similar to me.

even so, it's really not a big deal either way.

I can tell you since I was around at the time that we were aware a ton of b-sides for TDTH. There was talk that there was enough tunes recorded for that record to make a double-album. The petition sprung from the assumption that Vine Street had been recorded as one of them. If my memory serves, that's how it went down.
