Mollie texted me at 3 am and seemed to be having a good time. She said that they opened with All Over You and ended with Dance With You and White, Discussion. She remembered the band playing Heaven and Sofia, but blanked on the rest.

I'm glad she had fun!

Molls hasn't been to a show since 2004. So any setlist would have been pretty new to her. We'll know more when she recovers.

Uopness posted this review on SOY:

Just got back from Vegas and here are a few notes from the show/evening as we are getting ready to head down for the Anaheim show this evening.

Set list was the same song wise with White, Discussion and Dance with you added for a second encore. *Edit We didn't get Brothers Unaware. Crowd was really into it and the band could tell from early on. Lots of good energy and smiles from the guys. Everything sounded good, just the usual rough spots here and there due to being the first couple shows in a long time. Pat did some singing on Wings, which was cool to see. Opening band Carney was very enjoyable and look forward to seeing them again tonight.

After the show I met up with SOYers at the Hard Rock and we drank and gambled until about 5:30 am then had breakfast. I eventually got to bed around 7 am when the sun was coming up. It was great to meet everyone and it was tons of fun.

Will post a proper review tomorrow along with Anaheim.

Mica

hopefully it's still part of trying out things for this year........

but if they really dropped B U already, I think it's very bad...
I didn't understand dropping Godf don't ever change, The Dam at other Creek, Mother earth is a... and Where do we go from here (only one show??) that soon either, last year. Why?

It really makes no sense at all no.gif

According to Kerrie, Brothers Unaware was not played at this show. Mirror Song was what was really played. I had a feeling it wasn't played because when I hung out with everyone after the Vegas show there was no mention of it and something like that warrents mention.

Mica hit it on the head. Brothers Unaware was not played, Mirror Song was. There was mention at one of the shows of VooDoo lady, that wasn't played either. The main setlist and encore was the same at all 3 shows. Vegas and Anaheim had an additional encore of White Discussion and Dance with you, but in Anaheim it was blended to 1 encore where in Vegas it was too.

Well....I am semi-recovered and finally made it home to Portland after my plane decided to quit before I left Vegas.

In a nut shell, the night was FABULOUS! Got to the Hard Rock a couple hours early for dinner and ran into..................... gracey.gif in the bar and chatted with him and got a pic, which will be posted along with a few others as soon as I find the USB cord's new hiding place. Adam was in the bar too but I didnt get a chance to meet him again.

Like Nick said, my last show was in 04 so they could'v played Mary Had A Little Lamb and I would've been freaking happy, but all in all, the show was AMAZING! I was second row in front of Pat and met some awesome fans....we gotta add 'em to the Chooky list.....The fans were into it more so than the ones at York Fair in 04. Singing loud and proud to all the songs. Ed and the guys were loving it and fed off of the energy. Ed really didnt say much, but it was such a treat to hear the new songs and the old ones still stop my gracey.gif loving heart.

My husband saw them for the first time and he has a new found love and respect for my passion of LiVE. He was impressed with their talent, in his words, not mine. I did want to smack him for embarassing me in front of Gracey. But I will get him back....soon!

Great show and I fell in love all over again with the boys from York! rockin.gif

Thanks, Nick! I would love for LiVE to play Portland, but I don't see that happening any time soon. sad.gif

I have dragged the hubby to a few of my shows. He did say he really enjoyed LiVE cuz he could actually understand the lyrics, could appreciate the progression from quiet openings to fast paced kick ass crescendos. He did say Gracey gave it 110% and was amazed at his stamina. Yes, his words, not mine but he does now "get" why I adore this band.

We cracked up at the woman who smacked another fan for a gracey stick...He thought that behavior was for pro wrestling matches but I kindly reminded him it was a GRACEY stick no less wink.gif tongue.gif

All in all, it was another great show!
