Thanks for helping me prove my point, guys, but I think Hoodstock is only trying to keep the board rules in effect. Oh well, I guess if he didn't put on such a tough act his intentions would be received in a better way. And, Hoodstock, I'm not trying to fight with you or anything, but I have two questions for you. First off, why do you seem so pissed about this whole situation even though it's not hurting you or anything? And second off, why are you saying that it's wrong for me to request something on here? I understand what you mean about contributing, but hasn't pretty much everything by Live that is allowed to be posted here been posted? I mean, if you want me to "contribute", I might as well post the commercial albums since those are the only things not posted on here, but I won't since I'll probably get banned (lol). I thought you had already noticed all of this, especially since you're such a "superstar" on here (over 1,000 posts), but you're still using this in your defense?

Also on the last page of the "47 outtakes" thread it seems hoodstock bumped the thread up in good faith so people new to the board could download the tracks ... completely forgetting that amoungst those are tracks that can be found on commercially released cd singles like in this thread. Good job hoodstock

I must also thank Hoodstock, I mean I wouldn't have stumbled across that thread if it wasn't for him bumping it. Again, I'm not meaning to attack him on this, but I'm beginning to assume he's only bashing me more because I'm a "newbie".

What are you talking about? Your rant makes no sense. You cut out the part where I said share privately and not post on a public forum, ask how I contribute, and then say how grateful he is.

His gratefulness is besides the point - Live's material should not be placed freely on a public board. Feel free to share with others through PM's. What is your argument against that???

Stiles, welcome to the site. I'm glad you found it and share a similar interest in the band Live. I'm not intending to bash you at all. There's nothing wrong with being new to the site. You are a fan of Live. There is an issue with someone calling themselves a fan and then posting published works on a public site for anyone to download (which is what someone else did). Then people bitch about me mentioning it, but you don't see them posting more stuff because they know it's wrong.

I'm defending the work of my favorite band! Like I said before it should be sent privately. If you have a collection of songs and are interested in exchanging music I would be happy to hear what you have. I'm always looking for new Live material!

By the way there is a pool of people on this site who only post negative comments trying to bash anyone and anything they can. That's all they contribute. I don't have to point them out, you'll notice who they are rather quickly if you pay attention.

not that my .02 matters, but.....it really does bug me when people come on here and look for songs that are readily available on singles. out of print? look on ebay for a week, it will show up on there. you've lived without this single for 16 years...whats another few weeks?

its just amazing how many people feel they are entitled to this stuff without paying for it. if its commercially released in any way, it should be paid for. threads like these should be deleted immediately.

If people are fans and have been around here for awhile just ask for stuff and I'll be happy to give, but for those of you who gave to him all just got raped by a "hit and run" downloader who will never be back here again!
