the ferry 7 hours and then train to Amsterdam about 2 hours

By plane 2 hours

(Easyjet p.e. has cheap flights)

On the Paradiso website, it looks like a band called "Comet of Fire" is now scheduled to play on July 1st. So looks like the dates could be in a state of flux.

Why would they announce the opening band for a show and an onsale ticket date for Feb 16. without the headliner attached. I hope you're right, but it seems unlikely.

according to the Dutch forum, the band you named plays the small, other stage in paradiso that night
it has nothing to do with Live playing (or not playing) the 'main stage'

it's an old church that was changed in a Rock-temple! Many international artists were very proud to play there, and it has been for a long time. Even bands like Nirvana played there in the early '90s

The airfare to Holland at the time of the concert is over 1500 dollars per person. I do love Live, but I'm not that insane!
