What are the last gigs of 2007 we're seeing?


I think that my next gig is not until the 28th or 29th of December, depending on whether anyone wants to come with me to see Whiskey Go Go's. I think I'll drag them along anyway, yeah. Right, so.. if everything goes according to plan:-

28th Dec
Whiskey Go Go's + Skybombers, + The Service + King Jack

29th Dec
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club + The Black Ryder;
then go straight from Hi-Fi Bar to the Espy...
The Exploders (in Front Bar at the Espy), and hopefully see some of The Inches (in Gershwin Room at the Espy);
then, depending on level of drunkenness and ability to function, go from the Espy to Pony...

technically on the 30th, because the gig is at 2am

31st Dec

Probably can't get too much more awesome than bringing in the New Year with The Scare and Damn Arms, WOOO DRINKY DANCEY DRINKY SCREAMY DRINKY DANCEY DRINKY (probably in that order)! WOO!



Now, to my next question, what were our favourite gig/s for 2007?

..I'll need a while to mull it over. I shall return with an answer a bit later on.

Feb. 18- Matchbox Twenty and Alanis (Mohegan Sun Arena)

March 8- Live (Vegas) (not sure yet)

March 14- Live (Borgata, Atlantic City NJ) probable bachelor party

March 15- Live (Starland Ballroom, NJ)

March 6th and 7th = WEEN

I saw The go! team on the 3rd of Jan, and am seeing Battles on Tuesday which should be good.

I am not that familiar with their music but it is my best friend's fave band so I am going along for the ride....and free beer. Besides, she is heading out to see Flogging Molly with me so I owe her big time

VAST are touring England! One shall be seeing them at the end of March.

I actually wouldn't have minded seeing 30 Seconds To Mars, but they just played near me. I hated them at first, but I've kind of warmed to them lately and they sound phenomenal live, especially the drummer.

The lead singer has a great voice but no stage presence at all. The free beer will be important in order to enjoy the show.

Two questions:Who is Shooter Jennings and what date is the Lifehouse show? I thought Lifehouse was okay, the lead guitarist and lead singer are very full of themselves in a kiddie rock sort of way and I guess it turned me off. I hope you enjoy it though!

Shooter Jennings is the son of Waylon Jennings. I guess you could say he is country with a huge southern rock influence~kick ass show for hick watching! JK!

Lifehouse is Feb 26.
