i get so sick and tired of hearing how these hollywood actors have alot of pressure.my ass you can swim in your money you were sitting in your apartment with your housekeeper and you were about to get massaged by your massuse (sp?) yea whet a tough life.tell that shit to someone who lives paycheck to paycheck or is laid off and has a hard time putting food on the table. tough life......... FUCK YOU HOLLYWOOD! not can britney please be the next to go?

Not to be a stark raving bitch, but what if it was Ben? Hines? Lamar? or anyone of the Steelers? God, forbid I would hate to see the reaction of you and the whole of Pittsburgh. Football players are entertainers just as actors, who are paid shit loads to chase after a lump of leather and get smacked around. Neither actors nor footballers will find a cure for cancer, solve the world's issues, but they are entertainment in a world that is all too often a pain in the ass.

Heath may be a Hollywood actor by way of Aus. Never forget he was human, with a family and a child who will never see her father again. Despite, the shit load of $$$ he may have and worries we deem frivilous, let those who want to mourn his loss.

Screw hollywood but best wishes to his family. It always sucks to hear about people so young dying.

I liked "A Knights Tale", it was a good flick. Makes watching the new Batman a little wierd.

you may have missed my point im not glad hes dead and i feel terrible for his child.i was just commenting on a comment made by some columnist who said there was so much pressure on him and i dont understand why.dont we all have pressure to perform at our jobs?and in his case he makes a movie it flops he still swims in money.we flop at our jobs we are in the unemployment line or at the damn soup kitchen.although its sad his daughter will grow up without a father she will be very well off as she will never have to worry about money.i just dont get the whole drug addiction thing out there in hollywood at all.

I see your point lightout, but at the same time we can all only speculate what pressure he/they have, we've never been in that position .. yeah swimming in heaps of cash sounds pretty damn good. His job means millions of eyes will be watching him and critizing him .. he obviously took it very seriously and had a lot of pride in his work ... regarding his role as the joker, he thought he had huge shoes to fill taking over from Jack Nicholson (sidenote: i thought Jack's joker was crap).

As for the drug addiction .. when you have that sort of money and you are in that atmosphere, chances are you're gonna get into drugs ... same with people in the music industry, most of the time it just happens.

Yeah his daughter is going to grow up not having to worry about money ever, but do you think she'd swap all that for a relationship with her dad?

I do see your points and think they are valid to a certain reason, a lot of it on our part comes down to jealousy... but there is another side to it.

Point taken, I know you are not a fan of celebrities, but what I don't get is how just because someone is in the media, be it an entertainer per se or otherwise, some feel like we "know" them. Have you seen his financials? Do we even know what kind of pressures he really dealt with?

For the record that drug addiction thing is not just in Hollywood.
