Anyone know specifics about the Borgota?? GA or reserved seats?? Size of the place?? I've never been there, but I'm thinking they may have a smaller theater with reserved seats and another venue that is just GA?? Help me out here............thanks.

I wonder why its going on sale so late?

Usually shows at The Borgata have bleacher seats and general admission in front of stage. Its a weird venue, the space is way too big and its just an awkward place. However, the concert should be amazing.

Well it depends on the venue. Borgata has the Event Center, which is the one up the escalator. I've been to shows that are fully seated (Moody Blues), partially seated (Audioslave), and strictly GA (Weezer).

My guess is that if the show is in the Event Center, it would be of the Audioslave variety. Also, the Event Center's acoustics are modeled after Carnegie Hall. It sounds pretty damn good in there.

However, there is also the Music Box at Borgata, with the big red doors. Bands frequently play there as well, including the Counting Crows for 2 nights. This venue is entirely seated, unless the chairs are removable somehow, but it doesn't look like it. This is a very cool small theatre venue.

It looks like Lewis Black is playing the Music Box on the 14th so it would have to be at the Event Center.

Ok then. From a post above that mentioned 2500 as the capacity for the Event Center...I'm pretty sure this is the capacity for the mixed GA and bleacher seating. Weezer and Kelly Clarkson set the attendance records in the summer of 2005 with close to 4000 people there.

HOB Atlantic City has an open date on Friday August 1. I keep checking smile.gif

The bands just played the area 6 months ago, but not together, so maybe we'll get it.

Live will NOT be at the All Points West Festival. Beastie Boys, Tool, Coldplay, Echo & the Bunnymen, MGMT and alot of unknown (to me) bands will be there.
