wasn't this present supposed to be a cd with audio or other media files? (at least the holiday gifts I heard about, were, weren't they?)

They usually are CD's but this year they went a different route.
Merica...you sure your subscription didn't run out? If not, then you should be getting them soon.

I only subscribed very recently, so mine will be on their way. Living in England, I expected my stuff to take longer arriving, so I'm not worrying (yet tongue.gif ).

Just got my stuff this morning! The corkscrew and phone holder are both pretty cool actually, if a little useless to me. Cool nontheless! Also, I think I know the answer already, but the signatures on the back of the sticker aren't geniune, are they...? sad.gif

I believe the signatures were mass printed on the stickers. Mine looks to be photo copy quality.

When I first saw the package I was like, cool, a cd with a couple tracks on it....but alas, just the sticker, corkscrew and cellphone holder.

I guess the free Radiant Sea offering to homespun members was basically the CD of the year.

This was the first time in at least 6 years I wasn't a member of Homespun, and thus didn't receive the Holiday gift.

Nice to see I didn't miss anything.

On a related note, Pearl Jam's holiday gift was awesome this year! It was a 7" vinyl with a kick-ass guitar version of "Jingle Bells" and a song penned by Eddie Vedder (specifically for the Fan Club gift) called "Santa God":

Now and then I remember when,
Us Adults were little Kids,
And our only worry was,
What we'd get from Santa Claus,

When Santa Claus was God...

Now we're grown and so complex,
In a world that can't relax,
Even though he was a lie,
We all were satisfied,

When Santa Claus was God...

etc.

Pretty cool when a band actually puts effort into a gift from their fans!
