Last movie I saw was Stardust I think... and it was kinda mediocre. Ricky Gervais was hilarious and the parts involving DeNiro were funny, but as a movie I didn't enjoy it very much.

Apart from that the only thing I've watched that comes close to a movie was the Office (uk) christmas special for about the 20th time.

And the above mentioned star trek movie - Simon Pegg as Scoty? count me in!

Oh excellent... Simon Pegg is brilliant.

A couple more new posters...

A new trailor leaked online yesterday .. it's incredible but in poor quality so im holding out on posting it until something better comes up ... but my god the laugh it's purely psychotic ... I can't wait to see the Mother's rushing their crying kids out of the cinemas, complaining because this is Batman, it's a comic book and it should be for kids!

Ledger's delivery with certain lines like "I believe, whatever doesn't kill you simpley makes you stranger", and "lets put a smile on that face" go beyond acting .. he's just created something different, this is the performance of the decade for sure. Even just from the 2 leaked clips, Joker's not a "bad guy" in this movie, he's an absolute monster.

Oh and the line from when supposedly been arrested by the police by one of the officers "He's got no background, no other names, his clothing is ... custom, there's nothing in his pockets but knives and lint". Then it cuts to darkness and you hear him say "'evenin commisioner" before he appears on screen looking absolutely fucked up and just staring right at you, gives a very slong blink and swallows awkwardly, then shots of him walking down the street openly firing a machine gun, daring Batman to run him over. Just subtle things are making it awesome too ... he's in the back of a police car hanging out the window catching the wind like a dog would ...

I'm really hoping they play up the Batman/Joker relationship in this .. The line from the trailor "Tonight you're gonna break your one rule" makes me think they will. Batman's one rule is not to kill anyone, Joker might be trying to bait him into killing him thus at the same time destroying everything Batman stands for and forcing him to self destruct. In early comics Joker is fascinated with Batman, someone as fucked up as him yet has the control to not kill whereas to the Joker, killing comes as naturally as breathing. God damnit be July already!

I like this poster quite a bit. I'm a huge Morgan Freeman fan and thought he and Michael Caine were awesome in Batman Begins. The lack of well known villain and long backstory hurt the film a little for me, however, I still enjoyed it overall.

I am really looking forward to July, hoping this one kicks butt. With the origin of Batman story finished, we can get to the action!

The trailer is amazing! I hope the movie lives up to the hype. I'm also very excited about the new Dark Knight indoor coaster at Six Flags in 2008. A big bat year coming up!

saw beowulf in 3D last week, what a trip. Even better was the trailer for Journey to the Center of the Earth in 3D. It stars Brendan Fraiser, and let me tell you seeing the trailer in 3D has made me more excited about this movie than anything in the last 10 years!!

I saw Sweeney Todd last night and thought it was very good. Just a warning, there is a ton of gore and even more singing. If you can handle both, you're in for a very good film. Johhny Depp put in an amazing performance as the tormented barber that is worth checking out.

'Just saw "P.S. I Love You"~great chick flick. It was filmed in Ireland and had some great tunes by the Pogues!!!! But, then again I am partial to anything Irish and Gerard Butler.

Stupidest, Most inane movie of the year...."Super Bad," unless you think non-stop dick jokes and getting laid by prepubescent dweebs is funny, then this movie is for you!

"Does your Mom still have pizza bagels?"

To be fair, I did laugh at the police officers. I would love to hear what my deputy, officer friends have to say about it....it was nice to hear "panama" again wink.gif.
