Not a Steelers fan at all... but, I've got to give props to them tonight. That's a man-sized ass whippin' they're giving the Ratbuzzards right now. aggressive.gif 35-7 in just the first half alone. Good ol Ben Hamburglar is giving it his Tom Brady-best with 5 TD passes so far.

Let's see... the Lions just got through beating the Broncos 44-7. The Broncos beat the Steelers 31-28. eh.gif

What the hell is that about?

It's about what I've been telling you all year. The LIONS are for real, especially in the NFC. Anybody that want's to say shit about them this week can just eat it themselves.

So they beat the Broncos, big deal. Aren't the Broncos a 3-5 team? I guess that looks like an impressive victory to you because all but one of your victories came against sub .500 teams. Still, your one victory over a plus .500 team (barely) came at home against the league's worst team last year. Not too impressive.

Even more unimpressive is how Detroit got completely worked by Philadelphia and Washington (combined scores of those games was 90-24), two halfway legit teams but probably not playoff teams either.

I'd be willing to bet you anything that if the Lions are lucky enough to get to the playoffs, they'll get demolished in the first round. I'll put money on it too if you want. yay.gif

If he has any money left after your bet, I'll take the rest. Any team led by Kitna sucks ass and will get fucking killed by any half decent team. Who the fuck have they beat this year anyhow? Doesn't matter, eventually they will beat themselves as they always do. Green Bay and Dallas completely own them in the NFC as well as half of the AFC.

Anything from Detroit is not only dirty and usually homeless, but sucks dirty ass. yahoo.gif

In the NFL you can't control who is on your schedule, you can only beat them. The Lions will be 7-2 after this week.

I love this thread, because at the conclusion of the regular season this team will be in the playoffs and will have a legit chance to go to the Super Bowl in the NFC. They may not make it, since anything but the Pat's can be unpredictable, but it's been one hell of a season just like the Saints had last year.

$50 says the Lions don't make it out of the first round. What kind of diehard Lions fan wouldn't take that bet? Tina will hold our money in the meantime.

Why waste your money? They won't even be playing in the first round because they're going to win the north and clinch a bye week.

I'll bet you $50 that they don't win the NFC North, and then another $50 that they lose in whatever their first playoff game is. Two separate bets. I see you are hesitant to make the first bet, what's the matter?

Close game between the Browns and Steelers today. Slainte's tribe will probably get wind of the news in a few weeks....but it was really close!
