LSU beat Steve and his gamecocks - National championship here we come.

I can't wait to beat USC, I think they are overrated.

LSU will never make it to the BCS game. With one loss already, they are out with one more. They've had extremely close games with Auburn and UF, both of which they were extremely lucky to win in my opinion (both of which were night games at home too). With Alabama, Arkansas, and likely UF left on the schedule, they're screwed.

OSU is hopefully going to lose too. I don't mind OSU, but they aren't even a top ten team, let alone #1. They are not nearly as good as they were last year, and we all saw what happened to them last year when they played a team other than Akron School for the Blind. Same goes for Boston College. It's been a weird year in college football, and for that reason I think anyone in the top 12 still stands a shot at getting into the BCS game if they win out.

It is my belief that it will likely be Oklahoma and Arizona State/Oregon winner that will head to the BCS National Title game.

Yeah, I think you're definitely right about Oklahoma. They are pretty legit and their remaining schedule is a joke. However, Arizona State still has to play USC and Cal in addition to Oregon, and Oregon has to play USC in addition to Arizona State. I think both will lose one game besides their game against each other, but I couldn't pick someone else to get to the BCS instead.

Personally, this year I think puts the icing on the cake on the worthlessness of the BCS system. It is completely inaccurate at judging the strength of teams, and the fans suffer for it. Last year, all I fucking heard was Ohio State this and Ohio State that, and they got their asses handed to them by a team that got "lucky" to be in the BCS game. Same thing with Michigan. People actually wanted a Michigan/OSU rematch in the BCS game. And Michigan got their asses handed to them by USC. Just because Big Ten teams play close games does not mean they're both good! It could also mean they both suck, which has been the case for the last five years. I guess I'm done because I could go on about this forever, but you can't convince me that there aren't at least five teams out there right now that have no chance of getting to the BCS game that also would clean the clocks of the supposed top five.

two words...........GO DUCKS!!!!

kicking.gif

that being said, the BCS has ruined one of the best traditions in football, the Rose Bowl, being all of the Pac-10 and the Big 10/12. Silly peeps who think it is all about being #1 when it is about playing and supporting your team, irregardless~sp? (my spelling sucks after being stuck on the 14th floor all day) of what bowl they may or may not be in.

LSU has a strong possibility of going to the BCS game. Ark only has McFadden on their team, La Tech and the Miss game are ours and I feel very confident in beating Nick Saban in Alabama. That leaves the SEC game which will probably be UF maybe Kentucky and on a fair playing field I believe we have the advantage.

I'm not sure that there's going to be an undefeated team in the big game this year, I'm predicting Penn State and V Tech to be the # 1 and 2 teams this Saturday which will put us back on top.

I do think you're right about OU and that may very well be the team we play in the BCS game.

Agreed except for LSU. If it weren't for two costly turnovers by UF and several lucky fourth down conversions, not to mention UF's top receiver being out, they would have lost to them at home. Same goes for the Auburn game...had that receiver not made a miraculous catch in the endzone with time expiring, the game would have been over. Plus, they lost to Kentucky, who is good but not a BCS caliber team. I think LSU is good, but their luck will run out sooner or later considering their schedule. If the SEC teams played a Big Ten schedule, the top five in the BCS would probably be all SEC teams in my opinion.

Yeah, congrats. That was a good win over Alabama. I'm really pulling for LSU now because I'm sure OSU will get to the BCS game again (when will people learn their lesson?) and I really hope a legit team like LSU is there to embarrass them yet again.

Thank you very much. Despite our many penalties and sloppy play at times we did show that we are a top team. Right now I'm kind of pulling for us to play Oregon in the BCS game. I'm predicting right now that OSU will lose to Michigan and then LSU will be #1 and Oregon #2. Yes, I know they lost to App State and had a rough start but I think they're coming around.
