I would totally keep the weekend in mind! I've never been to NYC. I always hear how expensive it is to visit ... it would be a trip I would need to start saving for now. But the whole idea would be freakin awesome!

You know, Orlando is a fun place to visit ... and international fan friendly too! lol.gif House of Blues or Hard Rock Live are great places to see a show! For those in the colder areas of the world, defrost (because I know the weather in NYC is still touch and go in April) and have fun! Unfortunately, my place isn't big enough to have everyone over and crash! smile.gif

Orlando would have been amazing, the warm weather, the theme parks, and lots of pretty cheap hotels (especially compared to New York City), but they seem pretty set on New York so I'll go with the flow and enjoy meeting some fun people. We already know we all have at least one thing in common. I think it will be a blast.

I agree, my mom has a condo in Orlando so it would have been perfect for me!!! shrug.gif
They (Soy) have their hearts set on NYC, they say it's easier for the international fans. I hope they have a good time. I'll pass, NYC is not my idea of a mini vacation!!! I think I'll go to California, Arizona and Nevada in the spring!!!!

I wrote Chad G and Pat through their myspace and they both responded! I'll share it here:

What I wrote: I was reading on the friendsoflive message boards that there are plans for a huge Live summit with fans all over the globe to take place next year from April 18-21 in New York City. I was wondering if you guys were planning on touring next year during that time. If so, a show in the northeast during that stretch would be amazing fun.

Keep up the good work and enjoy your well deserved break after Vegas.
Gracey: No doubt...that would be a perfect time to be back in NYC. In fact, any time in NYC is good!

Pat D.: we haven't really planned out the new year yet, get back to me on that!!!!!!
The guys seemed excited. I'm sure Chad T. and Adam would be down, we just have to worry about Ed and their schedules.

Gracey is on myspace?

Didn't LIVE play there last January? (They probably needed a way to write off a trip to get their kids to Disneyworld) Seems like late winter would be a great time for a southern getaway and fan meet especially if the boys were so inclined again.

Yeah, they played @ HOB in Orlando this past January, it was a great show, the crowd was really into it.

The show at the House of Blues in Atlantic City last November was great too! I was hoping they would schedule another one this fall, but nothing so far and I know they deserve a long break. This past August I spent a week in Orlando and stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel. They have a huge picture of Ed (you can't see the rest of the band)performing at Hard Rock Live behind one of the check-in counters. It was so great to see Ed's face as we came and went everyday. Anyway, I would be totally up for a fansolive meet in Orlando, but first New York I guess.

Yeah - that was a kick ass show (I was up in the loge). And they did that private show at the HOB in July too ... I tried like HELL to get in ... SO upset! cry.gif

Its such bullshit though, I mean Live were hugest in 95, at which point the 12yr old market would have been largely targeted, and so many of them bought TC. Some of them had to be female and big fans, some of those female fans had to be gorgeous...did that entire demographic dissolve?
