The Tour seems to come to an end I guess, this october (or is the Tour section just not proper updated yet? lol.gif but seriously, I guess they don't Tour next month, in november. By that, Adam K. announced some solo tourdates for november ( so that let me believe even more there won't me Live tour dates), and maybe also no december ones...

so...what do you people think that's next for Live? Are they planning to tour outside the US from januari or something? or maybe they stop touring for a while, to enter the studio this fall? That would be great. I think Ed has written several new songs now, cuz in the summer he was already busy writing new songs. A new album could be out in summer/spring than, as anounced in interviews earlier.

Apart from a new studio album, I'm really hoping for some Europe (read Holland) gigs at the start of 2008 rockin.gif

My guess is that the band will break until February/March at the earliest. They deserve a bit of a rest from touring after their heavy schedules in 2006 and 1007. Their next release could be a either be live DVD or new EP/CD later next year. I don't expect the band to do any Live related work at all until after the holidays.

I know I'm going through some Live withdrawals, but anticipation of what's next is never a bad thing.

I hope they come to England in '08, I need to see them in concert. Yes, that's 'need', not want.

I have heard that they will be recording new studio album in late Nov through to near xmas, take a couple of months off, do their mixes and release around April/May. Then its a world tour around July Aug next year. Take it with a grain of salt though

If you can say, where did you get this info from? If you can't say who the source is, do you think the information is credible?

If I've learned anything on these boards, it's not to say anything solid unless you have a source or you put "in my opinion" in it somewhere. tongue.gif

Withdraw? They just toured forever and released an album with two new songs a couple weeks ago, and released a completely new album last year! You've got high needs.

First of all, I'm glad a band that's been around this long is still touring and creating new music. There are a lot of bands that I listened to that I can't say that for. I'm hoping for a new album next summer that is upbeat and rocks from start to end. It would be great to have more of a rock album next time. A tour with a revamped setlist would also be great. Maybe they could use it to put together a true concert CD.

I cannot name my source but lets just say that the I have been given other info (not LIVE) from them and it has been pretty close to the money

first saw a post on another board that LIVE will be re cording thier next full length album in late November through next spring with a release sometime next year. I first took this with a grain of salt but I have now heard from a respected member from this board that this does look to be true as they have written enough songs to make a full album already in the past year. Their plan is to record this winter, mix in the spring and release sometime in the summer. Anyone else here that is willing to share any info that they know of for the next album?

In a thread called "What's Next for Live?" over on the SOY message board Jimmy Lang says that "Live will be recording their next studio album after the holidays this year. Expect them to take their time with this production since recording and producing albums in haste in the past resulted in mixed and somewhat poor results. They then plan on doing a tour throughout Europe and come back to the U.S. to promote the new album through an extensive tour"

Sounds pretty promising to me? eyebrow.gif
