Anyone going to be at this show? I would love to meet other LIVE freaks. My husband and I will be there, probably early to get in line since it is a GA show. I hope the weather holds out as it is an outdoor venue. I am ready rockin.gif .

I will have a great time, don't worry about that! Since no one else is going, I guess I will have the guys all to myself! yay.gif

I am horrible at the set list thing. I am too into the show to try and remember or take the time to write it down. I will hopefully have pictures though.

I'll be there, along with my wife, my cousin, and 3 of my close friends, who are all big fans of Live, and Collective Soul. I dont' know how early we will make it, but we'll be sure to get there before the opening song. Hope to see you there!

Doors are at 6pm so we thought we might get there at 3pm. It will just be me and the hubby. I will look for a "gang" of Live fans!

Wow, I can't believe I actually got to see Live!
I hadn't come here, so I didn't know it was an outdoor show. I'm only one month and 6 days shy of being 21, so I was really pissed that I couldn't actually go and get tickets. Since I thought the concert must be outside, I was really bummed about not being able to go. I had actually thought about going to the casino parking lot and waiting for Live to come out to their tour buses to try to meet them. Well, as today arrived, I had made my peace with being mad since I couldn't actually see them.

I had my roommate go with me across the street to the new Urban Outfitters, and as we were leaving to walk back to our apartment, she said to stop and listen to what she thought was Elton John at the Qwest Center. So I stop and listen, and I'm thinking, that sure doesn't sound like Elton. That sounds like Live's "Rattlesnake!" I start freaking out, thinking the show must be outside after all. I sort of kiddingly say to my roommate, "Will you go to Harrah's with me?" and she says yes. So we drove the whole like 5 minutes over there, and sure enough, there they were on the west side of the hotel, playing. I saw Eddie as we drove toward the parking lot. Surprisingly, we found a free parking spot, and we got out and watched the show from on the top of a concrete sign for the rest of the show. This was the second time I've gotten to see Live for free! Best walk to Urban Outfitters I ever took! haha

Here are the songs I remember
apparently, they opened with Shit Towne
Rattlesnake
Selling the Drama (I think this one was the one they were playing as we pulled up)
Iris
The Beauty of Gray
I Walk the Line
The Dolphin's Cry
Run to the Water
Wings
Heaven
**Encore**
All Over You
Lakini's Juice
Lightning Crashes

Sorry, I forgot "I Alone" above there, it was somewhere toward the middle. I'm really not sure about the order of any of those songs at all. huh.gif

Thanks for the setlist and review, must have been awesome to see a free show. I guess the casino should have made the concert 18 and over smile.gif

Hi, that was me.
Haha, now I have more of a reason to procrastinate on my studies.

The show was so amazing. Eddie blew away my roommate and this couple who watched most of the show near us. They played this interlude thing in the middle of I Alone that I didn't recognize. I was kinda sad it wasn't Revolution, like they did on the new Radiant Sea CD.
Last night was definitely one of the best nights of this school year I've had so far! lol.gif

Oh, and I just re-read my original big post...I had thought originally that the concert must be inside...that's what posting after a really long day will do to you. ha

So they didn't play Shit Towne? because that was the song that this guy near me said they played first. But he did also call it Crazy Town, an I said, "Do you mean Shit Towne?" and he was like "Yeah." uhoh.gif

Sad to see I missed Waitress and The River on my drive over. Oh well, not my absolute favorites anyway, I guess, although Waitress is a really rocking song.

Thanks for the welcome, even though I have been a "member" since Jan 2007, same as you. I am more of a lurker though.

Here is the review of the show I posted over on the SOY board.

"We had a great time. It was very hot waiting outside the venue in full sun from 3:00 till the 6:00 doors open. We met some very nice people in line. Turns out they had traveled up from Kansas City as well for the show. Also met some CS fans that were very nice and a guy and his girlfriend from the same city my husband grew up in. It is a very small LIVE world!

Collective Soul had a meet and greet before the show and all of those people who paid an extra $35 (about 40 or so) got to go in early and do their thing. They got to stay in as well, so those of us who waited in line for 3 hours at the front of the line were sort of dissappointed that we weren't able to get right on the rail up front. Thankfully our new CS fans got there first and they stood up there for CS and then the husband offered me his spot for LIVE.

Emerson Hart I hadn't heard of but enjoyed his stuff. CS put on a good show, they had tons of fans there. LIVE was great as well. The crowd really packed in towards the stage while LIVE was on. CT was having many problems with his equipment. He kept making signals to the guy to fix this or that all night. Ed of course was full of energy. I was told they had a meet and greet after, but Pat wasn't there. Caught the Chads in the hotel lobby on their way to the bus and got a picture. I asked CT why he didn't bring his usual stomp-o-licious self and he said he had a broken foot.

As a side note, before the show my husband and I were walking through the casino (about 1:00 pm) and saw Ed walking around by himself. I said hi and he went on his way. CG and his wife were out walking around before the gates opened as well. The few of us at the front of the line seemed to be the only ones that noticed that it was him. We gave him a hard time and told him no cutting in line!"

It was a long day, but well worth the trip. victory.gif
