Radiant sea is a really good song. BI is not even close to it. Weak as any given falsetto song.

I think both songs are good but I disagree with your preference. Good music is in the eye of the beholder. It just happens to be that I check out sexy babes and you like fat chicks! hehe.gif

Upon listening to both a few more times, I still like them but prefer Radiant Sea. However, opening line where he says "Diesel jeans" makes me cringe. She's just a godess in a....pair of DIESEL JEANS. Ugh. I don't know why that bugs me, maybe its because its a reference to something popular - kinda cheapens it? He could've changed that to a metaphor instead or something. I don't know, ill quit pickin and continue rockin. kicking.gif

it IS a metaphor. Actually I like the placing of a goddess into a female by way of using a brand name. cool.gif

Live used many, many more popular terms, brands and topics.

and "she's JUST a godess" .. like if being a godess is only something to "just" be, then what in the world actually impresses him? If I'd met a real godess she wouldn't exactly "just" be one..

I know Ed didn't write BI but I think the line...don't drop the reins everytime it rains....sucks, I cringe when I hear it, don't know why. I like the part in the chorus when he sings..beautiful baby.

he didn't wrote it?? eh.gif so it's true it's a cover

But Pokey, about that JUST a godess, you have to see it in a way like: not only just a godess, but Ed can't express it else than...well...just a Godess! he can't find any other words for it...
although that's how I read into it when I first heard the lyrics.

I don't think Live's version of Beautiful Invisible is a cover of Rachel Fullers. Anyone know for sure?

LOL - do you really think that Live would cover a song and release it on an album without crediting the original artist...
Anyway, the answer is No - it's not a cover of the Rachel Fuller track. You can hear a sample of it at the following links:
