This thread is in no way meant to be a slam of the band, but rather an serious and objective analysis of their body of work.

Often we see polls and questions regarding what is better or what is your favorite. I'd like to look at the other end of the spectrum and pose the question to Live fans - "What is the worst song Live has ever released?" This can be anything on an officially released album from Mental Jewelry to Radiant Sea.

A lot of stuff post 2000 really .. V had some songs I love for more personal reasons on it but so much of it was trite, and a lot after that sounds like the first single an Australian/American/Somalian Idol would release.

We've been over this a million times though, the intelligant people dislike most of the stuff from BOP and SFMB and the easily pleased love it.

Ugghhh... Ball and Chain or Home.... Well... Hoodstock said from Mj to RS so Ball and Chain is out. Home is terrible, Country artists sing about crap like that.

If Ed knew he would be singing "Home" when he was making TC he wouldn't of believed it. He might have sang a song about how religion play into wars and how we should be peaceful or something... Oh wait, "10000 Years" was on Mj... smile.gif

Bring The People Together... worst of the worst!!!! nod.gif and c'mon... Home is a great song, not much pretencious... i think that is one of the best songs of SFBM... c'mon, is the only song in the album with distorsion... with riffs in the guitars... tear.gif i miss a lot that kind of songs... tear.gif

I think that's a little unfair, just because some people like stuff from the later albums doesn't mean they are any less intelligent or 'easily pleased'.

In terms of the question worst of the worst, jeebus that's tough. I don't think I can pick one, I love them all. Some less than others, but there's no one song I always skip and just can't stand.

I think we are supposed to be choosing based on how much the songs suck musically. I asked questions like, "Is this song unique?" or "How much effort/ passion is put into it?"

Personally, I hate horse but It's not about what I hate. I can't even listen to that song. shrug.gif
