I listened to the songs more and I still like Radiant Sea better but BI is getting better the more I listen to it. What kinda turned me off at first was the country like sound. I can't stand country music. Also I really like the beginning of the song better than the end of it.

Me too Nick, I hope they play them at Hershey, along with Sweet Release or The Distance that I heard they played in Greenville, that would be awesome!!!

Beautiful Invisible I did not like. I couldn't get into it at all. Radiant Sea is solid, except for the Tricky portion. The song did not need that addition.

I love the Distance too, that would be an awesome surprise. Simple Creed, Sweet Release, or Beautiful Invisible would also make me very happy. I guess we'll see tonight.

When I first heard the beginning of BI, I almost thought it was a joke. It really is very cheesy. However, it definitely grows on you. It almost becomes one of those songs that you like, but hate that you like it.

I undertand what people are saying about the guitars and such in Radiant Sea. The song is just alright to me. When I make my guess at when it was recorded, I simply sing "What are We Fighting For?" Over the beginning. Try it, you'll see what I mean.

Neither of the "new" tunes made the cd for me. The recording of "The Distance" was in itself worth the album for me. I love the song to begin with, but listening to them jam a bit on it is sweet. I don't know why the band has not done this sort of thing more often. The band is called "Live" for crying out loud, and in my opinion, that's where they sound the best. Many of the songs on this album are, in my opinion, better than the studion verions. The two main exceptions are Nobody Knows (I'm over that song) and Pillar of Davidson (Ed forgets how to breathe and phrase music and it makes the harmonies, which really make this song, sound like crap). Finally, I was surprised at how well Ed sang "Overcome" on this particular performance.

I voted that I liked both, but I think I like Beautiful Invisible a bit more. The song is very cool and different for the band and it just has an awesome vibe to it. I hope it gets played in Hershey!

This is exactly why I protested you closing my original thread and censoring my poll. The question asks which is better? You answered the question in your statement but did not vote accordingly. You prefer Beautiful Invisible - so vote for it. I'm sick of this everything is the best attitude.

I said that people would sit on the fence if I put the positive "both are great" option and you proved me right. I think you closed my original post simply because you wanted the option added so you could vote for it yourself.

Um, yeah well, I've been a bit out of touch with the Live world and had no idea about any of that. So bite me.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure I've singlehandedly put at least one of the guys kids through school with the amount I've spent on them. So again I say, bite me smile.gif

well the very beginning of the song (first few seconds) let me believe it's gonna sound like a Led Zep song. tongue.gif but after that - when the keyboard kicks in - you know it's gonna be very poppy. Like the chorus though!

That's your problem. If you want more keep paying.

As far as biting you, I'll pass. Keep dreaming!

Just ordered mine. Great to see a band that's been around this long is still releasing new material (even if not everyone likes it).

We should be appreciative of the career they've given us, not complaining about everything. Live doesn't owe us anything and I'm sure they could walk away if they wanted.

Thanks for keeping it up guys!
