I'm stoked about the new album. Hey, any new material is great, right? And the price is right.

Did anyone get 3 - 2MB mp3s with their email? Roger Clyne tracks, too bad it wasn't the new Live tracks.

What email is that? I haven't received any emails from FOL regarding the new album. When I ordered the CD, I got a confirmation email but no mp3s...

FYI: Postage to Australia was US $10.10 (CD was free as I am a Homespun member)

If you're not a Homespun member then postage is US $7.90 to Australia (CD is US $10).

pillar of davidson and sweet release are kinda rare i spose, in that they dont play them at shows much anymore. but who cares i think its a small price to pay to hear two new songs, which is essentially what you are paying for

Yeah you're paying for two new songs. The only people who are creaming over the other songs are the ones who love SFBM and Ed taking off his shirt, aka the pussy fanboys. Someone rip the god damn cd NOW and put the mp3s online. Don't you guys have any dignity?

I love SFBM and even I think this is a ripoff.

I've ordered mine too but was a little confused as to why they haven't included any B-sides.
Oh well, can't wait to hear the new songs! Well worth $10.00

Leigh.

If you think this CD is a ripoff, than you must think any live or greatest hits album is a ripoff. At least this one contains two new songs.

Actually, I love live releases. However if I want a live release, I'll take a full concert over select recordings any day.

Full concert CD would have been awesome (depending on the setlist).

I got 2 emails last night from FOL (technically from "blast@missingink.net on behalf of folinfo@friendsoflive.com") announcing the CD release and the upcoming tour dates. In one of those was the MP3s. I also got two more emails from blast@missingink.net confirming my order.

FYI: My total (postage only) to Colorado was $4.60

You tell em. I buy all Live's albums except the ones I can't get / don't exist. What sucks is that in college I don't have a mailing address so I have to send it to my dad. That's a 45 min drive there and back for live.

Where is friendsoflive.com based? I was assuming PA. I guessing not - that must be a bad assumption since Colorado postage is $4.60 and Michigan postage is $5.21.

Seriously, the Detroit area is not that dangerous!

I thought it was in PA too, but shipping for mine was $5.21 and I'm in Pittsburgh.

*edit*
Friends of Live is in Lehigh Valley, PA, but the Missing Link place is in White House, TN.

I'm looking forward to getting the new album, but must say I was a little disappointed with the tracklisting based on the hype of it being a b-sides and rarities record. I'm assuming there is a problem getting the rights to those tracks from Radioactive?

However, it's not anything new for Live to not release studio quality b-sides... they've never done it.. with the exception of heaven wore a shirt, negation, and after much fan protest, Vine Street. I guess we should be used to getting live versions of tracks in lieu of b-sides.

I don't want to sound unappreciative. The fact that it's being released on action front is very cool, and the gesture of giving homespun members the CD free is a nice touch. My shipping to Canada was only $4.66.

All in all, looking forward to it.
