Oh no your picking on me, I'm gonna cry. I've been a fan of LIVE since you were in diapers, I bet and I can like any song I want. Wings is very inspiring in my opinion. You don't know me and what I went through in my life, Wings helps me keep my head up. If I believed that Ed's behavior on stage was bothering EVERYONE, not just a few fans then I would be in favor of him changing it then. But till then....all I hear is blah, blah, blah

I think this is just a case of some people are easily pleased.

Whilst im not a fan of wings, if people wanna like it, cool. But I don't understand people being cool with the idea that they may see Live in August 2007 and then in August 2008 and not caring that the exact same things are done at the exact same times in the exact same songs.

To me this is a huge thing, not only with Live but many bands. Actually even planned encores annoy me to some degree. If I were in a huge band like Live then absolutely no encore would ever be set out pre show and only played at the conclusion of a show if I felt the fans deserved it for being fucking awesome that night. I don't think that's an arrogant thing, arrogant is assuming your fans want an encore. Of course no one will turn it down, but that's not the point.

Live hadn't even formed under any name while I was in diapers. Also, it's not just a few fans, it's the majority from what I've seen.

And desert....Still Aroused mediocre? Please. The studio version kills.

Studio Version?? I didn't even realize there was one. I just have the concert clip, not great quality, but still... Vine Street and Don't Wait are way better from what I've heard of it. Perhaps, the studio version might change my mind. Does anybody know where I can get the studio version?

Can you guys please stop saying crap like "Ed can do whatever he wants, he is the performer." It's a stupid blanket statment that insults everyone intelligence.

OF COURSE he can do whatever he wants, that's not the point. We can still discuss, as fans, what would make the show stronger, better.

Seems to me that there are people on this board who "get it." Ed's on-stage antics have become lame, and sometimes even detrimental to the energy in the room. We're all for craziness, but this isn't the raw craziness that once captivated us. We still like the band and we still go to shows, but can't help but wonder sometimes what the hell happened. We just can't bring ourselves to fall in love with a performance of "Lakini's Juice" when the singer is flaunting his waxed chest and fondling himself.

Others don't get it, and you may not ever get it. You guys love every single thing Ed does. I think more power to you. I'm happy you're enjoying the shows. But I think you guys are delusional. Of all the songs in Live's catalogue, you pick songs like "Wings" to quote in your signature. You justify Ed by saying things like, "well Ed is hot, and I'd flaunt my body too if I were him." And I think that's the saddest response you can get, and it speaks volumes. We're not talking about Nick Lachey. We're taking about a band that grew up idolizing U2, R.E.M., and Dylan.

I don't think there's any point in convincing you people that don't "get it" already.

BUT there are enough people, fans, non-fans, critics, who are saying the same things I am about Live, that you CAN'T call us wrong.
