A couple brief comments...it looks like there are only three songs that don't use the word "love". Also, I think Ed should win an aware for the lamest simile ever, with:

Oh love shines
Like an eternal sun it shines

I wonder what the difference between an eternal sun and a sun is? Don't they both shine? Sun's aren't eternal are they? I thought they eventually died after god knows how many years.. I don't think they shine after that.

Like an Eternal Sun it Shines" is one of my favorite lines on the new cd.

...It's sooo Live. It's not supposed to make sense, it's supposed to be whacked, because that's what Live does, ever since Ed began songwriting. What about this: can you hear that children's song? can you take me to that place? high above the lamentation up on the desert plane". I fuckin love it because you're like WTF when you hear it. It's so out there, you can't compare it to anything else.

I think Ed's goal in writing lyrics has always been to get everyone to think "WTF is this?", but still sound good and have an enjoyable melody.

This has got to be one of the stupidest things I've ever seen someone post here.

I understand sticking up for bands that you like, but fuck, you seem like someone that no matter what live does, you'll try to find some way to make it seem alright, because you're just unwilling to accept that they might not be great at everything all the time. It's an incredibly shitty line, nothing more. Deal with it.

It's not shitty to me. I love it. And I don't accept everything Live does, I just don't dwell on the negative. Deal with that!
