Song: You Are Not Alone

Lyric: "Raise up a glass of bloody wine"

Vine Street.

As for the Norman Schwartzkopf song...I can only take a stab in the dark here. I busted out my old CD-R with Change, Still Aroused, The Beacon, and other oddities in hopes of hearing the name, but nope. Honestly, if it's a cover or an improv done anytime after 2003, I probably wouldn't know anyway. I kinda fell out of the loop during those years. I collected, but didn't follow the band's happenings at all. Since I'm totally in the dark on this one, I'm going to give two guesses (neither of which is likely it since no known recordings exist of either track):

01. Wash the Blood Away
02. New City

Actually, now that I think of it, I remember having an MSN conversation with someone about 2 years ago who claimed to have a copy of New City. Did this ever happen? Again, I haven't really followed the band over the past few years, but I'd still be damn interested in hearing that track.

Lyric: "cut me down"

I know that "Cut her down" is Graze and that "Laid me down" is Nobody Knows.

"Cut me down" has me stumped at the moment. eh.gif

All right, either you picked one hell of a lyric, I'm overlooking something simple, or you made this up. I don't recall this line in any song so I actually took about 7 minutes to skim through the lyric link and I didn't see it. I resorted to an internet search I and the only thing I could find was a song called "Photograph", which I have never heard from them before.

Here is the link to the lyrics:
Photograph

I'm guessing it's from Live since two of the links at the top of the page are connected to them. If it's real I can't think of anything else it could be.

Let me know if I'm off base!

Good job, mate! It is indeed Photograph. This was an unreleased (and probably unrecorded, studio-wise) Live song that was known to be played in the 1990s, although only a handful of times (possibly only once). I'm not sure exactly of the era it's from, but I believe it surfaced between Secret Samadhi and The Distance to Here. I could be wrong about that. A completely shite concert recording exists of it in case you want to hear the song.

Oh yes, and your lyric is from Call Me a Fool.

Lyric (I don't know if this breaks the rules of the game): think about it

I've never even heard of this song. I'd love to hear it if you have it!

I'm sure I can upload it. I'm warning you, though. The sound is so terrible you can barely make out the words. Give me a few minutes. I'll put it on the livediscography server.

Still Aroused

As for my lyric, yes the song is by Live. There's a bit of a catch to that, but if I explain further I'll give it away.

Is an MP4 okay for Photograph?

Nice

MP4 - If it works with Windows Media Player.

You can give it away cause I'm done today.

To keep it going this is something for everyone (except for the lyric master Swami)

Lyric: "open up your cage"

Okay, expect the MP4 (I have no idea what this format plays in since I don't generally download music) in a few minutes.

I won't give away anymore details about my lyric. I'll wait for someone to guess it.

Live - Photograph (shit quality, quite possibly the least well recorded song in Live's entire history)

Along with nemo16's quote, let's not forget that I have a lyric that hasn't been answered yet: "think about it"
