I was wondering that. Does anyone know if fans will be allowed close to the stage at other venues? I'm hoping it varies and that Victory Field in Indianapolis allows us to rush the stage.... there's no game that night, just the concert. Crossing my fingers...

Also, what order will the bands play in, or is that going to differ venue by venue as well? It seems like the concert is being billed slightly different in different areas of the country. I wouldn't expect Live to be a headliner here (the radio ads make it sound like Counting Crows), but they were the headliners at a different concert someone reported on.

The way I understand it, you will be allowed to either be on the field directly in front of the stage or you will be able to be in the stands. The Pittsburgh show was a different kind of show entirely since there was a game that day and it wasn't part of the Triple Play tour. Collective Soul will be opening the show with Live on second and Counting Crows closing the show at all of the Triple Play shows. When it is just a Collective Soul and Live show, Live is the closer with a bit of a longer set than Collective Soul but those shows are seperate from the Triple Play tour.

Yeah, I agree, I hope we get to get close to the stage! I honestly didn't shell shell out the $50 + TM fees per show (x 2) and have to be WAY back. That would suck balls ... I will be very upset! You may see me as one of those crazed fans who storm the baseball field, with security running after me! It could be worth it though! Ha! lol.gif

Triple Play ends September 2. If a California date happens this fall there will be no Counting Crows involvement.

Just saw that Lightning Crashes at PNC Park was just added on youtube. This is one of the coolest videos I've seen of Lightning Crashes, primarily because the setting is so unique, and Live totally won the crowd over. When they walk off the field, the crowd gives them a standing ovation as if a pitcher had just thrown a no hitter. Sweet video! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=naeTximxkZk

The line up for the shows with Counting Crows will be:

Collective Soul - 45 minute set
Live - 60 minute set
Counting Crows - 90 minute set

Just being honest, Collective Soul and Counting Crows sound good on tape but they are both horrible live.

Hopefully Live will put together a solid 60 minutes and win over some new fans!

Umm I think you can see Jen in the front row during Gel. She touches Ed's arm when he comes over to Joel's side of the stage. You mostly see us in the behind the scenes stuff though. All of the fans standing in front of the doors to get in along with Will the bass player. We are in the background laughing and drinking. It's so funny though, we know every single person that was interviewed in the behind the scenes stuff too. It would be so cool if Live were to film a dvd like that and all of the fans could meet up in one place and end up on the dvd.

Yeah it would be a cold day in hell if the Pirate's pitcher pitched a no hitter. Amazingly they won that game. It was definately a standing ovation for Live =) I had to watch the entire show on the Jumbotron because the band looked like the size of Ken dolls from where I was sitting. That was a little disappointing. But I enjoyed it none the less. I was able to get super close to their equipment afterwards lol.

That would be really great. But something that might never happen.......*sigh*

Ok, I'll look out for you in that section of the dvd....

See everyone has opinions...I myself think CC is sooo much better live than the CD's...the different versions and all the alts that adam inserts to the songs giving them new life..I mean I think they do it mostly for themselves...but I enjoy them...how boring would it be if you had to play the same song the same way for 14 years...

Seriously, they are horrible live bomb.gif . They don't play the songs the same way because Adam can't even remember the songs. Last time I saw them live he couldn't remember the second verse to Long December. He actually stopped the entire show, worded through the song, apologized, and started at the top of the second verse. This was in Detroit.

They should have immediately refunded everyone. People don't pay professionals for that!
