Live debuted Dam At Otter Creek as the new opening song for their summer tour in Toronto this past Thursday. They also played Where Do We Go From Here from SFBM.

Very cool way to spice up the list I must say!

Great moves! They gotta keep em coming though, picking stuff from SFBM that hasn't been played before is nice to see, not that I really like the material but it's just nice to see live celebrating more of their recent album in concert to show the ones that never got played wernt just filler.

TDAOC thats just .. awesome!

lol.gif yeah, who knows

It's strange they suddenly play something of the record more than a year after it got released.
But it's cool anyway!

Thumbs up for Night of Nights rockin.gif

Dam at Otter Creek would be a good opener.

The songs I'd really like to see live are Ghost, Forever May Not be Long Enough, and a few others I am sure they will never ever play. lol.gif I can hope for Ghost, right? And Forever? That one was even in a movie, wasn't it?

It was really nothing special. WDWGFH was OK but DAOC was ... well boring.

Awesome!!! That song rocked as the opener back in '95. I hope they still have the lighting effects to go with it.

I am totally excited to hear about the changes. Can't wait to see them tomorrow in Michigan!

Sorry to have to agree with you but I'll take it one step further, I thought they were both boring really.

The fact that Live is trying to add things to the setlist for the summer tour is cool in itself. For people to complain the songs are boring really isn't fair. Of course the general crowd won't be into non-popular songs, but most hardcore fans would love to see Damn at Otter Creek return to the setlist.

I'd have to agree with Nick. The truth is with any band there are huge gaps between fans. For those fans like myself who have followed LIVE since the Mental Jewelry and even the Death of a Dictionary days we love to hear a song like Dam at Otter Creek added, for others maybe not. All I know is I am so glad to know the guys are trying to add to the setlist. With a massive library of songs the guys could really shock us all and be ready for a total overhaul of the set, who knows?? I'm just glad the guys are still out there and touring and maybe somewhere we can find a happy medium where all fans can be satisfied. Maybe??

Guess that's true too. I just don't enjoy either song really, but most other people probably will and do.

I should add that i think adding new songs of any kind is good. But I'd rather hear White Discussion than TDAOC any day of the year and I Walk The Line over WDWGFH. If you're gonna add some songs, add some meat to the lineup. Stick in Gas Hed or Hero from SS and something like Feel the Quiet River Rage from TDTH. Songs you can work with and alter so that they completely rock out in concert.

But I will agree, new additions are very good.
