FOL just put a new summer tour shirt in their online store. If you look at the dates on the back, they go in order through the summer tour starting with the Pittsburgh show from the other night. The weird thing is that between the Jackson Hole, WY show on July 18, and the Wilmington, DE show on July 22, there is an Orlando, FL date listed. That would place this show as occurring in more or less two weeks, yet none of the bands on tour have announced it. Is this show happening, or were the shirts printed and then the show canceled before it was announced? Nick?

I have no idea but I have a few theories:

A. It is a private show(check HOB because that a usual haunt for them)

B. It was scheduled but isn't going to happen

C. It was scheduled but postponed to the Fall(I'd love that!)

Live in Orlando makes me happy. I am trying to limit my online time, but I should have a definite answer tomorrow.

Hum, I'll have to work my media magic and see what I can come up ... I haven't heard anything. And everyone knows I'm a LIVE fan so if there's been a "leak" in radio business, I'm usually told by a co-worker. I'll check back, if I hear anything ... even if we have to crash the party!! lol.gif

I checked in w/my mkting peeps and no one has heard anything but they're still asking around. They said conventions have a tendency to host private shows at the House of Blues or Hard Rock Live. I think they may still be checking w/their reps at these venues to see if that's true ... Sorry - no news yet! But I'll keep digging!

I emailed FOL and this is the response I received:

This tour date is a private event, so we cannot provide any details. We were asked to still include it on the tour tee though since it is a location they performed at during this time period. We apologize we could not provide more information.

I'm bummed. They're going to be in town and I can't figure out where it's going to be! I've tried my sources and mum's the word! Damn! This is going to drive me CRAZY!! bomb.gif So if anyone can figure it out, please tell us! Even if I can't go to the show, I'd love to meet up w/them or something ...

Just heard Ed in an interview and he said they are playing the House of Blues tonight. I'm assuming tonight is the date of the FL show.

I heard the interview on our local radio station, the one that is hosting the Hershey show. Didn't learn anything new from the interview. Ed mostly talked about the tour with CS and the tour with CC that is coming up and all of the different weird places they are playing. He also talked a little about Chris Daughtry and how they are good friends. That's about it really, it was a short interview and the dj really didn't ask any very good questions.

Live was at House of Blues - Orlando back in January of this year.

Yeah, they were here and I tried like CRAZY to get tickets too. Because it was a private show - no way to get in - even with venue connnections and friends who work there! bomb.gif I tried calling the HOB box office that afternoon but kept getting voicemail. I had thoughts of driving down to Downtown Disney but it's out of the way for me. If I couldn't meet them at the bus (parked behind fenced area), it just wasn't worth the drive / gas to have an uneventful night. It was VERY disappointing to know the guys were in town and I couldn't go! But thankfully I'll see them at both Indiana shows! smile.gif 12 days and counting!
