Heather, where did you hear this info at? I went to the Collective Soul message board but it was down for maittenance. I remember once saying that a co-headlining tour with the two bands would never happen, but I'd be glad to admit I was wrong. I think if it were to happen, it'd be a very fun tour.

I'll try to find out all I can, but whoever goes to Lancaster be sure to ask. The guys may not know if they are or not though.

A couple of CS fans contacted me about it on Myspace because they know I'm a Live fan and hoped I had some info on it. Apparently two different people posted messages about it on Collective Soul's page under the comments. One mentioned something about the two bands playing a show together in CT and another said something about a rumor of a CS/Live tour. A CS friend of mine called her local radio station in CT and they told her they had heard the same rumor but could not confirm it. That could just mean they know about it but can't say anything yet or it could just mean they are doing one show together in CT or it could all just mean nothing. So I guess we wait and see.

It would be a fun tour, hopefully I'd be able to get to a show if it happens.

Ed mentioned at Starland that the band would be embarking on a 4th month tour beginning in July. That would mean that the band will be playing dates into October. I'm guessing some of these dates will be with Collective Soul and perhaps some will be solo shows. Counting Crows tour ends September 2nd and I doubt we'll see any more Triple Plays after that date.

Looks to me like Live is building up funds to finance a new album. I've never seen the guys tour this much!

I think you're right. I'm listening to Ed and Joel of CS live on Sirius right now. Ed said they may continue touring with Live after the Triple Play tour is over.

I've heard from numerous sources that the band would like to end this tour in Vegas and California the weekend after Columbus Day. It isn't confirmed, but if you want to visit Sin City, third weekend of October sounds like a good time.

So when are those California shows happening? If they are on a weekend and minus Collective Soul, I may want to go.

Do you think Live will take a hiatus after these dates end? I think they deserve it.

Yeah, I heard So. Cal dates for October over @ SOY. Maybe end of Oct? Honestly, I enjoyed seeing different bands play with Live but I'm not going to any more concerts until they play by themselves.

I think Live should take a well deserved hiatus after the tour is over!

I think Big Head Todd replaced Live for the Cal dates. That is why they haven't been announced. Live withdrawal time sad.gif

Wow, Atlantic City is awesome!!! Only negative is that Starland and AC are so close that the audience overlaps. But it should be a fun weekend!

This date is still unconfirmed. I dont know where he found info regarding this date. However, the Borgata has two venues and one looks to be empty March 14.
