SJN..."Ed's voice sounded amazing, whatever he's been doing, he's doing it right. I don't think I've heard the man's voice sound that powerful ever"

????

any ideas at all what he might be doing??? I know he doesnt talk much and talks very quietly to save his voice...with allergy season coming...we can all remember all to well last year at this time almost when he had trouble....ear allergies, etc....his vocals at Reading (06) where strained...I know he was sick.,...

I really dont know how he does it....when I play out my vocals are shot for a day or 2.....any advise, help or ideas would be appreciated..

anyone get backstage????

My 14th show, thought it was really good! Probably in the top 5, they were all just very on last nite. The added intros to many of the songs are just awesome! Ed also seemed unusually happy, lots of smiling, and joking around with the crowd! Made for a really cool, high energy show. You could tell he was happy to be there, even said if we keep calling the Starland they will keep coming back! yay.gif For all the females out there, I have to mention that his body looked in tip top shape, I could tell he's been working out again based on what he looked like when I saw them in the fall. definitely was a bonus!! I will absolutely catch them again in the summer. Yes Nick I believe your setlist is accurate.
Hope everyone going to Nokia gets the same caliber show. Have fun.

Awesome show. I have never seen Ed so happy and enthusiastic. Lately, it seems like it takes him a few songs to get rolling but last night he was definitely fired out of a canon from the beginning. He had a lot of fun with the crowd and crowd interaction. Chad Taylor seemed pissed the whole time about technical problems. The crowd was really into it. Overall, the show was definitely in the top shows that I have seen. Thank goodness because the last show I saw was at that hell-hole in Baltimore and I thought that show blew. This show definitely redeemed everything.

It was my first time at this venue and I really loved it. Great sound and there is no bad place in the building to see the show. The air conditioning worked great and kept the place real cool. It was smoke free. Safe parking. Just great.

All the guys at the after-show were real friendly and had fun. But whoever booked them for VA, NJ, VA, NY should be shot. I wouldn't want to do all that driving.

Nick...you were there?? Way to hide out again! eh.gif

All I really have to say about the show was that the crowd was amazing. To me, a good crowd means a great show. Every song sounded amazing!!

It was great seeing everyone!! smile.gif I'll see some of you in NY on Sunday!

I asked about you Beth and Tina told me about the broken foot. You really need to start wearing body armor below the waste. Am I dreaming or did I stand next to you at the House of Blues after a freak filing cabinet accident. You are a menace.

Thanks for the kind words about the crwod, Tina, I will take that as a personal compliment. lol.gif I must say that the best place to see Live is in New Jersey. Whether it's Atlantic City or Sayerville, the best Live concerts I have ever seen are in New Jersey (and Kahunaville in Delaware). The best crowds are there, way better than their hometown crowds around York.
